Eh, for convenience I'll just list out the custom ships, which are most notable for giving you access to specialty parts before they'd even unlock for your current character level: Marathon(custom Mule at Cydonia), Shieldbreaker(custom Warhammer at New Atlantis, good overall balance for when you earn Class B Piloting), Silent Runner(custom Star Semi from Hopetown), Narwhal(custom Orca at Neon, early game favorite for having 36 reactor power), Aegis(custom Hoplite at Deimos Staryard), Murasame(custom Zumwalt at Gagarin), Shackleton(custom Endeavor at Hopetown, outstanding B Class shield capacity), Hellhound(custom Pirate Ghost/Watchdog at Kryx), Warhorse(custom Mustang at Neon, probably the best immediately available Class A ship for low level characters), Warwolf(custom Trebuchet at Stroud-Eklund Staryard/Narion), Vagabond(custom Rambler at New Homestead, it's engine is tweaked to exceed normal Boost limits, but is slow to turn), Wanderlust(watch this video, of course), Abyss Trekker(custom CivShuttle at Paradiso), Stronghold(custom Highlander at Akila City).

The more I watch your videos and the more I build, the more I like smaller, more compact designs. They are just easier to navigate the internals.

Another ship I like, it pretty much needs everything though, I do like the interior, but needs a captains quarters. I like the suggestions on upgrades you make in the videos now.

Looks like a color swap of the roanoke. Not entirely fond of the internal layout. But the open spaces is nice.

My main ship looks very much like this one except mine has the Cabot bridge and is designed to have no ladders. I have the same sideways landing bay and my docking bay is also a side entry. Otherwise, it is also a very rpg oriented ship with lots of beds (at least one per crew and a couple extras fo occasionnal passengers) and living space. BTW, when you make upgrade suggestions for reactors and engines, you should be mention that some of the best of them are level-locked. So even with a Starship Design 4, players flying those early game A and B class ship might not have access to some of the best parts until level 60. I'm level 46 right now and the best reactor available is a C with max power of 34. I feel reaching the Starship Design 4 early was a waste of skill points that would have been more useful on more practical skills. You only get the 40 power reactors and access to all the other high end parts at level 60.

Why not upgrade to one of the best shields in the game, if you got the perk for it? Use the Dogstar 28T(1500/7%).

What are the differences between the Wanderlust and Roanoke in terms of configuration and modules? Any idea?

I love your vids, but it’s not Shroud. It’s Stroud, with a “t” not an “h” after the “s”. I don’t know why it’s making me crazy, but it is.

Those engines on the sides, there isn´t a version that could go on top or the underside? I have yet to buy the game, but i have quite a few ideas on ships already, and those engines would fit with at least a handful of them, but for two ideas i would need them top/bottom mounted. What irritates me is that it seem to only be able to mount one reactor, shield generator, jump drive and dock. How am i supposed to make a Stardestroyer if i can´t mount two shield generators on the control tower? And side-mounted i would like another one to keep symmetry.

Your power numbers are bunk. What level are you doing these reviews at? Im in the mid 30s and the highest power reactor avaliable is a 26 power C Class. Most from B class is 24. A class starts at 16 up to 20 max at my level.
