I was diagnosed with Stargardt's disease when I was in the army at age 25. It is now to the point to where I can no longer drive as objects disappear in my vision. Recently I had to have an injection because one of the abnormal blood vessels that Stargardt's helps produce was bleeding into my retina. I can no longer make out faces as peoples forhead goes down to their cin now until I am up close. I was f ortunately that my employer values me enough to let me work from home but I have to use a very large tv in order to be able to do my job.

@@selectfilm6804 The injections seem to be stopping the abnormal blood vessels that are forming but other than that I had had no improvement and of late it seems to be betting worse. I can no longer focus my telescope to see anything of real clarity

Hi, In from sweden and I have stargardt but they told me that I mabe become blind and I probly not be able to get mmy driving L , I have a lot of problem in my dailt life and I dont know what to do I cant travel to USA to meet you . What should i do ?

Nano-grade eye drops should be the last-ditch treatment for Stargardt's disease. Western medication forever can't effectively treat and reverse Stargardt's disease. Usually, after applying nano-grade eye drops , within 2 hours, lipofuscin/drusen will be excreted from RPE to surface of cornea. All glory belongs to God !

@@muhammadnabi1902 please DON'T use that drop. This is a scammer. He/she can be found in all top videos related to stargardt. Ps. My 8 year old niece was diagnosed with stargardt two years ago. Under no circumstances, use any unapproved drugs. We're still searching for some sorts of optical enhancement device. Unfortunately, it's really difficult to get such help in our region.

No, but there is something coming out that might help. A modified vitamin A supplement from Alkeus that can potentially slow down vision loss with Stargardt. Studies should complete next year (2024), but phase 2 results are quite promising. I have Best disease, the other major macular dystrophy that is thankfully not as aggressive as Stargardt, but I'm hoping that it turns out to be helpful for my condition as well.

Please stop trying to read. A Duck cannot soar like an eagle. So swim... I use quality binoculars... All the time... If you get a good set like. Swarorski EL. you will never leave them behind.. Quit trying to be a regular 20 20 person..
