"Don't run with scissors" - O'Neill

It's been 60 years since teal'c has visited the SGC and probably even heard the stargate. This jaffa is experiencing nostalgia beyond comprehension.

For those who don't know, Christopher Judge kept crying during the final scene in the gateroom. You can see his eyes are slightly red, and his voice cracking is beyond his control.

I almost teared again. Life is too short. I miss SG1.

The team saying “Indeed” in unison is the greatest nod to Teal’c there ever was in this show.

Walter did hell of a job in this episode and in the whole series really. A true hero.

Vala: "Life is too short" Daniel immediately has some sort of deja vu existential crisis

Tealc ..has the best experience to be had ....watched his friends grow old and frail ..watched landry die ....but now he has a second chance to enjoy more of the journey with a new appreciation of his friends and being in SG1 ....godspeed and indeed .

I hope the never do a reboot. It would never top the original.

Teal’c knows everyone better than they know themselves having spent 50 years in very close quarters with them, that’s crazy. He knows how general Landry might die.

By far the best show to have started on Showtime and criminally underrated as a Sci Series. I miss this one.

Stargate SG-1 really was some of the best Sci Fi of all time.

You have to wonder what it might be like from Carter's perspective. Like, just out of nowhere, there's Teal'c, slapping a program into the computer, and then they're in Hyperspace and then she realizes . . . Teal'c is . . . older. And the Asgard Knowledge Base is offline. And then they debrief him. Holy CRAP.

I seriously wish this show never ended. I remember watching this episode realizing it was the last episode ever and then sitting in front of the TV silently for about 10 minutes afterwards.

I was so disappointed when they erased that time line on the ship, Daniel & Vala were finally an item. Damn it. I found it hilarious when she asked Teal'c if she hooked up with someone she said all the guys BUT DANIEL. Why didn't you ask about the guy your always trying to get with, Vala? Why didn't you!? Every time Sam says it must be torture not telling us, I always picture Teal'c screaming on the inside,' Daniel & Vala became a couple!'

I laughed when Vala asked Teal'c if they hooked up while being stuck on the spacecraft.

It really was the greatest show of its time...

God damnit I miss this show so much...

I was hoping Jonas and Jack would return for the final ep.

The whole episode hit like a truck, but they managed to give the series a wonderful ending. Special nod for Kratos killing it as Chris Judge as Teal'c :)

Very emotional watching this episode both for story and finale :(

SG1 has and will always be one of my favorite shows. I have so many I think I've lost count. But I don't think it matters much does it? When you've watched something throughout it's entire run it's easy to get attached.

A fitting end to an excellent series. Whatever the future holds for the Stargate franchise hopefully it's bright.

If Teal'c hadn't done this he probably would've outlived everyone on the Odyssey and been alone for the remainder of the time.

I like that no SINGLE ONE of them had the last line.....

I wonder whether time was reverted for the Ori ship as well. Imagine if it was not: You just think the enemy with weapons capable of destroying you is destroyed, but then, the ship pulls itself together, your energy projectile flies back through it and the enemy's shields recharge just enough to take that final hit. You franctically fire again, but the ship is long gone in hyperspace, and you realize that the trackable energy signature has disappeared.

The actual saying "A jack of all trades is a master of none, but still better than a master of one!"

I like to believe their final exchange is in regards to the future of the series. I had a feeling he wasn't sure when we would see SG1 again and he knew it would be torture to not tell us even if he wanted to. I believe....

Funny how right to the final episode they still used the very first gate opening and kawoosh at <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="223">3:43</a> You can see the gateroom with tarps covering things. The scene was clearly reused to save animation costs but the whole 10 seasons right to the end is a laugh.

my problem with this episode is that the one traped in the field at time reverse would be apart of the time reversal. meaning when time was back to start there would be 2 of him. past version and future vision. Since he was in the bubble of future time! the past version would be on the ship in a different location as the future version just appears when time bubble dropped. but at the same time he would just disappear. and have no way of giving the info to the past.

What would have been nice is if Sam found out how the Ori tracked the Asgard computer and knows how to keep the Ori from tracking them

Why doesn't he tell them what happened though? It's just an alternative time line and isn't going to affect the space time continuum

I didn't like how this affected Teal'c. I feel like his relationships with the team must be irreparably changed after spending so much time with them and then having them basically reset. Plus he just sort of wasted a large portion of his life.

Boom! Johnny 5: no dissemble! Time: moves backwards ship gets reassembled Tilc shows up to change the course of time problem solved yet again!

They could have figured out which parts of the ship would be affected by the incoming blast and disassembled just enough of the ship so it missed. They had the time to do so. Then they could get out of Dodge with the Asgard's tech slick as can be.

So Ive been thinking, why dont they use the time in the time dilation bubble to get the shields back online, deactivate the bubble, let the ori beam be absorbed by the shield and then they can fly away and regroup before fighting again?.......

So if SG-1 defeated the Gao'uld, the Replicators and the Ori with Stargate forces in Atlantis defeating the Wraith why do we need the new Space Force ? The Lucian Alliance can't be that much of a threat nor the Free Jaffa ... The SGC should have boarded every Ori ship and taken possession of them .. drop off the Ori troops back home and deliver a couple to Atlantis then keep the rest for earth

An awful episode. I hate it so much :D Nothing in it works. 1. You cannot do a nostalgic episode about the whole team being together forever, without the original characters.. I mean I actually like Vala, Mitchell and Landry, but each of them was one of the main characters for only two season, Vala only one, they don't represent 10 seasons of SG1 so the nostalgia does not work. 2. It's extremely depressing: I mean can you actually imagine those people being trapped for a lifetime? Take Mitchell for example, a young guy, handsome, full of life, trapped with his boss forever, with no women, life wasted, he would go insane. Daniel has got Vala so they probably cuddle at nights and are kinda happy but Mitchell? - alone in his quarter with no one to hug or kiss for fifty freaking years that's a terrifying idea :D They made it look fun coz it was a 50 min. episode but 50 years c'mon. :D 3. It's completely different from the rest of the show, for example that song "Have You Ever Seen the Rain" it's the first time and last time we heard a full, regular song on the show, the last episode should pay homage to the whole series but this episode seems to be from a different show not SG1. 4. We don't meet any important recurring characters like Jack, Walter, Siler, Bra'tac etc. 5. it's just boring :D 5. last BUT NOT LEAST - apart from the last scene - THEY DO NOT EVEN USE THE FREAKING STARGATE IN THIS BULLSHIT. Can you imagine a last episode of any STAR TREK show that wouldn't feature the corresponding star ship or station. Like a last episode of TNG without the Enterprise D? :D and I could probably continue... I love SG-1 but I will probably never re-watch this episode :D

After two final cringe seasons, this always felt weird. To be perfectly honest, after they had to bring back Daniel it slowly but surely went downhill.
