DC's Stargirl, or simply Stargirl, is an American superhero television series created by Geoff Johns that premiered on streaming service DC Universe and now airs on The CW. It is based on the DC Comics superhero Courtney Whitmore created by Johns and Lee Moder. The series follows high school student Courtney Whitmore, portrayed by Brec Bassinger, who discovers the cosmic staff and becomes the inspiration for a new generation of superheroes who become the Justice Society of America. I love seeing Courtney listening to what grown ups tell her and being more honest, which is gonna make Pat not telling her the truth even worst

Well with Cindy's fake mother Cindy did the eye thing on her to keep her in the house, so it was confined to the diamond, he just decided to manipulate her in a different direction than the one Cindy wanted him to

really enjoying how the show is building the suspense like the thriller/'horror' movies the second season has been based on. each week the dread grows as we continue to watch these characters evolve: -Courtney being more honest about what she's doing; -Rick comparatively being less of a hot head; -Yolanda coming to terms with what she did and that how that fits with her religious beliefs; -Beth having a rounder personality by not coping with her home life crumbling and lashing out when it comes to The Shade and wanting to charge head first when it comes to Dr McNider being alive. The eeriness of Eclipso slowly getting to full strength while we watch our protagonists struggling in their day-to-day not really realising the terror that's coming their way, I love it also, your ice puns were so bad I hate myself for laughing

Yes this show it does build lots of suspense as you can see how each person has grown from first season

Every time Country and Cameron are on screen together, I just want her to say: "I was there when your Dad died, my Brother hit him with a truck!" You know, just as an icebreaker. ;)

I love how this show build suspense each character has there only thing going on and each character is important.

The only bit I didn't like was Cameron inexplicably getting annoyed by Courtney leaving despite the constant barrage of text messages she was clearly getting. Also, Court, just kiss the boy before you run off.

The VFX they used for Eclipso in this episode are interesting. In the pilot episode, whatever took Doctor Midnight looked like some kind of ooze, whereas The Shade's powers shown so far in this season are more smoke-like. Perhaps it was actually Eclipso that dragged Doctor Midnight away, and The Shade saved him by placing him wherever he was in the previous episode.

The art teacher is reminding me a lot of Paintball, a villain who appeared in the original Stars & S.T.R.I.P.E. run. So that's a cool callback to the original source material.

I think Par is trying to protect Courtney but I fear it is going to backfire. Also, I am looking forward to seeing Cindy realize she has less control over Eclipso than she thinks. Also, I like how they made Paintball creepy as hell! And I am glad that Beth FINALLY confronted her parents about the the divorce.

I would love to see them team up against Aclipso but I'm worried about how they would either get them together or resolve it considering the JSA did kinda kill their parents...

Courtney is the reason Eclipso didn’t get to her during the fight with the JSA and the Art Teacher not the staff. Her strength of will (which a number of reactors have criticized her for) is the reason she was not able to be corrupted by Eclipso like Yolanda, Rick and Beth. Nobody seems to want to acknowledge what I have felt for these first 2 seasons, Courtney is the true core of the new JSA. Her resolute determination and lack of any real skeletons in her closet will make her less vulnerable to Eclipso’s efforts. From the beginning, her drive has allowed her to form the new JSA (ignoring Pat in the beginning) and is the reason 25 million people and the Art Teacher are still alive.

Definite romantic vibes between Rick and Beth more and more. At least one sided. Where she may think it is more than he does or vice versa. Could be mutual too. With Jordan's parents, I had a thought if they were going to pull an Ice thing from JLI where there is a race of nordic magicians.
