In the previously on segment they showed the scene where Cindy fixes her broken arm. Then during the episode she holds the shoulder of the same arm before she drinks the potion. She appears to be in pain. Maybe her healing powers were the result of regular chemical injections and without Dr. Ito her healing powers are failing and is why she is drinking the potion to restore it.

I'm pretty certain Mister Bones is behind the surveillance - end of last season he was very interested in heroes and villains living together in blue valley - now there's surveillance on them all. If The Gambler was killed because he'd just found the surveillance and had the capability to find out who was behind it, then it stands to reason that Mister Bones would be behind it. If so, who he used is unknown but could be his assistant Nurse Louise Love, who may secretly be Penny Dreadful (as from the comics) and thus have the power to do that sort of damage. However, surely the laptop would have been taken, unless Cindy interrupted that part... That's the trail my head is on right now. It's all very intriguing. I think Sylvester was a bit of a jerk in flashbacks, and now has extra PTSD, so I think he's mostly just a jerk. There's likely more going on with his resurrection (which took place in season 1) but not necessarily secret murder. 'The killer has many names' is a functionally useless clue, when every villain (and hero) is known by multiple names. - Further to that, the clue wouldn't mean multiple people, as it referred to 'killer' in the singular.

My biggest issue with these first two episodes is Yolanda's personality trait only being "I hate Cindy". She has not had anything outside the group unlike the other members - Courtney has new dynamic with Sylvester, Rick has his stuff with Grundy and the hourglass, and Beth has new dynamic with her parents. Yolanda has only had a few scenes and each one she says basically the same thing of not trusting Cindy. It's giving me flashbacks to the heavily derided Rene attitude in S6 of Arrow.

Ooh, I really like Aaron's tin foil hat theory, I'm also kind of thinking that how/why/who brought Sylvester back is influencing his behavior, but the mirroring part is really interesting!

When Starman told the Shade that Jay Garrick was killed along with the fallen JSA members, well John Wesley Shipp who played Jay Garrick stated in an interview last year that his Jay Garrick is the same version from the Flash and he may survived as he may ran accidentally into Earth Prime in the new multiverse as Garrick was from Earth-2 rather than Earth-3 in the original multiverse. Starman and the JSA didn't know that Jay Garrick is alive in Earth-Prime and the existence of the multiverse. Anyways, glad to see Melanie to react to Stargirl season 3 episodes.

i like melanie in small doses (like the crossovers of the past), but i unfortunately didn’t really enjoy her in the s1 stargirl reactions, and am a little disappointed that she’s back for the s3 reactions. i have absolutely nothing against her personally, i just think she doesn’t react as well as eric and aaron do lol
