Firebringer at the bottom... Brave

i feel like this is kinda the thing that sets the starkid fandom apart from every other fandom. the person who made this vid literally disagrees with it after a week of making it. starkid musicals have a quality that lets them get stuck in your head at the most random times- you can be thinking of a single lyric and be brought to rewatch the whole musical. by the second, fifth, or twentieth viewing, you notice things that you didnt notice before. yes, you can try and rank them by song, cast, or comedy, but since starkid is so universal and complex, there's never a permanent spot where each one belongs. every single one of these shows has the potential to steal my heart, its just the luck of the dice. each show has that feeling that will linger in the back of your head forever and that's why there are so many diverse opinions on each show. loved and maybe not so loved, but, like these videos, each one is ranked almost on a scale from great to greater. thanks for coming to my ted talk lol i should start a tumblr

Wow, if I was expecting something it wasn't this. Honestly I don't know what my list would be but Holy Musical B@man would be ahead of TGWDLM, and I think... Yeah, you know what, Holy Musical B@man was really strong songwise for me, so it would be first. P.S. Can you rank them based on non-musical aspects, like humour and script instead of singing and dancing?

I genuinely thought that you were going to put TGWDLM at number one only because of Show Stopping Number. But damn Holy Musical B@man is one of those ones that is good because of Dylan nailing it with the old time vocals as the narrator. And ANI is all about having fun, there's no reason to take it series and that's what the music reflects. Most of the songs don't even have the people in the show singing it's all about the band and that's great! It doesn't take away from it at all which is fantastic! :3

I personally think that AVPM has good songs all across the musical. I never wanted to skip a song, which isn't always the case in some musicals ( ANI, HMB) which have some good songs but some are just slightly better than average (because no song is average). Of course I love twisted because how can you not. I do love TGWDLM and TTO which have some really good songs, but they also have songs that aren't that good (tied up my heart, when you gotta go). I just wish that you wouldve gave the very potter series a better chance because there is some really amazing songs there ( coolest girl, no way, granger danger, different as you can be, sidekick, I was, always dance, not alone, days of summer, not over yet) tbh everytime I watch one of your ranking videos I know that TGWDLM or Robert manion will be at the top

With Firebringer I feel like Lauren was the only enjoyable part and what they did with the cast recording wasn’t my favorite. It also got out of the fandom which made me listen to it waaaayyy too much.

i will say that firebringer, avpsy, and ttoregon all to me feel like not the best songs but some of the best vocals? so its like Ehhhh ? i'd rank avps and avpm higher. i like a lot of the classic starkid catchy ear worm songs. and i rank hmbm and tgwdlm (also good vocals but only a couple stand out songs to me?) lower. also like i know that the the singing and musical composition in ani is technically good but most of it didn't stick with me (except, haunted by the kiss). also this made me want to listen to the soundtrack to mamd again god damn some good songs in there. my top two are probably twisted and starship.

AVPSY (I’ve had everything ends and I was going through my head recently, and sidekick is so much fun) 3. Twisted (If i believed and no one remembers achmed :)) 4. Firebringer (I love the harmonies, esp. on climate change, and Lauren omg) 5. TTO (it’s hilarious... I just wish they had a version of you gotta go without the fart sounds) 6. AVPM (I adore Not Alone) 7. Starship (kick it up a notch is one of my absolute favs) 8. HMB (love Dylan’s voice and the harmonies from the chorus, and the somebody’s buddy part

I don't really associate the Potter musicals with the rest of Starkid for some reason, so it's really odd to them ranked with all the others Plus, the songs are quite different so it's hard to compare them I completely agree with you changing your mind, since I do that all the time. I used to agree with all the firebringer hate but it keeps switching

I love how high up MAMD and Ani are placed! Sure, they're not the greatest shows, but they deserve recognition for the songs! I also feel like Jaime and Joey's vocals sound INCREDIBLE together and MAMD is really the only show that actually showcases them together! I also just love these videos you make because even though I may disagree with them sometimes, I can still totally understand where your opinions come from and why you might feel the way you do about a lot of them. That's just a really special aspect about the Starkid fandom that I love, nobody said we all have to agree, because we love them all anyway!

Here’s my opinion: the songs from Firebringer are the best. The harmonies are great, it’s very vocally strong. Sure, it’s not as funny, but the music is great.

You did Firebringer so dirty! Omg. I thought it would be Ani I'd be fighting for, but WOAH 😂 For me I think Firebringer has the most beautiful harmonies and I love that the finale, like in TGWDLM, has aspects of lots of the other songs in it. Hands down my favourite.

I honestly think firebringer had some of the best music especially based on vocals. It wasn’t the best show for comedy but for music, firebringer is for sure in my top 3.
