Back when my discord server was much more active, there were contests I held to design zones, like combining two together, turning them into time travel zones, etc. When they ended, I still had 2 prizes to give out, and now I'm finally doing them. This is WAY overdue.
This version of starlight is a bustling, complete city in its good future.

Sonic 1 may have been limited in the sounds it could make, but every song was an absolute banger. I hope Sega and Fangames COUGH (like mine) COUGH can revert back to sonic one's amazing music and fun gameplay.

I have come after getting lost for a bit to say this zone should be better remembered than labyrinth, but then again most ppl died before they made it here.

Interesting trivia: this was originally intended to be the third stage.

@@Rindrand Very interesting. I do think that star light had a large impact on why Sonic games after did so well: Physics. The whole zone is like a physics simulator, hence why I love it so.
