Great video, but I recommend you conduct a speed test with MTN Turbonet. With an antenna, I'm able to get around 60Mbps. Starlink is still faster, but I think it's a level playing field.

@massaudzulaiya9727 MTN broadband can somehow compete with the starlink but it can't lead starlink. Starlink is more convenient than MTN broadband. You can more startlink around everywhere, but you can't more broadband like that.

Bro this speed test is not accurate and fair , because u re using a phone which has weaker modems compares to device which sole objective is aim at giving internet speed so to be fair , use turbo net for such speedtest and also i don't know may your area is not good for mtn cos am in Kasoa and using a mid range device with low modem and antenas i can get a speed test of around 52mbps and a download speed of 16.8mbps. i can prove with screenshot if u will doubt

@@WestOG12MTN fiber broadband is fast though but then Vodafone is far better. I run a test an😅😅d had like 500+ Mbps which beat the starlink but then Starlink is very stable due to its low latency. Ghana de33 no network has a consistent speed

MTN's internet speed can't be compared to the starlink but I think the comparison isn't fair. The starlink is using a dedicated router for internet access whiles you are accessing internet from MTN through your phone which it's ability will be limited by your phone. The best way to compare is to use an MTN router. Starlink will win tho

The more close comparison in my opionion is testing MTN's similar setup (broadband) against the starlink at least both would be through wifi testing.

Starlink is going to help the smart youth make side money. This is the plan : To mitigate the supposed high cost of starlink data which could officially go as high as 700gh a month, there is a simple trick you can adopt. Just get 2 of your closest neighbours and sell internet to them. Charge Atleast 300gh a month, that brings you 600gh monthly then u add 100gh from ur pocket. That solves the high cost of data bundle. This is the worse case scenario. The best case scenario is 5 to 10 neighbours, just have in mind load will reduce speed limits as well. Makramo

It's about time Starlink got approval for GH. MTN has been lying in the corner for years and is asleep when it comes to expanding fiber optic connections. I bought a used set including bracket in Germany. As for the monthly fees, I think they will be around $50.

I’m personally getting the Starlink to save cost on monthly subscription but talking of speed, I use Vodafone fibre (950cedis per month)which gives me 800mgbs to 1gigbs . Meaning Starlink speed will be relatively slower than my Vodafone fibre. I’ll still get the Starlink regardless

doing the speedtest for MTN using cellular[Weak signal] compared to the starlink using wifi is unfair to MTN. i know starlink link is far better. i use MTN on my phone and turbonet as well. speed test is always way better on the turbonet. My Max speed after test is 130Mbps so location too really matters. i have downloaded MacOs (15GB) in 30mins before.

I get 800+ on my Vodafone Fiber when I use cable. Starlink speeds are so high because of the type of wifi protocol they use. If you use a WiFii 6 router with a Vodafone Fiber, you can get more speeds than you get on starlink
