i think the airtel 5G router is just a precursor. i dont see the need of having fiber to the home all the way, then getting a speed of 10,30mbps, yet for me, airtel is giving me 100 Mbps on their 5G router. with 40ms latencies.

I think most people may look at the cost of buying it to be expensive but after the installation then it will be well worth it in the end. It is even cheaper in the long term than Safaricom especially for businesses and residents. Thanks for video G.

Starlink is now available at Naivas for Kes 29,999 for the kit. I hope it drops further. As a Safaricom shareholder though, I'll still keep my home fibre a while longer due to some of the issues mentioned here. It works great for remote locations but not so great in built up environments.

Mine works perfect even in rain or cloudy sky... one of the things I am felling is I work online its only mee and m y laptop phone na tv.. streeaming is suparb ata 8k kwa youtube haibuffer the only issue is I use dto have 20Mbps for 4k from kment it was working for everything save fo rthe 8k na 4k stremingh and such. now that I have 150+mbps using the same gadgets I feel like the extra 2500 im paying is not necessary for my use... nikama kununua ferari kenya you wont enjoy the extra speed. so kama uko nairobi you can pass starlink if you dont realy need the extra speed
