We had the honor of sitting down with two artist who paved their own way. Starlito & Don Trip discuss their illustrious careers and the power of staying independent. Don Trip explains his thought process behind dropping 12 projects in 2023 and Starlito speaks on his highly anticipated and long awaited album Love Drug. Both discuss their ups and downs and what they had to overcome to get to where they are now in their careers.

trip gave us more music in 2023 than some rappers will give you their whole entire career 🤷🏾‍♂️😮‍💨🔥🔥 it’s so many mainstream artist that won’t make it to 12 albums through their whole catalog so that’s crazy he did it in 1 solid year & it’s all HARD‼️‼️

Where all the Day one All-Star & Don Trip Fan's tho? I moved from Detroit to Cashville Tennessee back in May 2000 and All-Star dropped his first Album Summer of 2003 & I was locked in every sense! Don Trip hit the scene in 2008 wit "Letter to my Son" an I been locked in sense. If you really know music and not a young kid then you been hip to them 💯

Been rockin with Trip since he won the radio contest on K97. Been rockin with All Star since Grey Goose when I first heard him. Grew up with them guys and proud of them like they my homeboys.

Yo starlito might never read this but, I think it’s crazy that I discovered his music in high school and played it throughout me pursuing a degree in college and I ran in to him recently at Beach Club in downtown Sarasota. The thing that intrigues me is that if someone were to ask me what “celebrity” or artist I would want to have a dialogue with it would be Lito and i would never in a million years expect to randomly spot him at a club in Florida in a town nobody really knows about. I had a million questions to ask him but i left him alone because he was hanging around with family lol.
