I get what you're saying. I love that one Superman movie and also think Homelander fans are cringe, but the Boys resonated with me much more than the movie did. I always preferred Batman and Tony Stark. Superman as I see it is just a regular guy who just so happens to be good and powerful, but those other heroes made themselves powerful, trascending their humanity in a way. And this is why I like the Boys, they're just kinda regular guys, with no powers, but they're still able to defeat what we may consider supervillains. It's also truer to life.

It is weird to say but the way people misunderstand superman is representative of a real problem in the world. There is this thought that you have to have a good reason to be kind, like if you give money to a homeless person you have a reason. You don’t have to justify kindness, it is one of the few things in life that requires no justification or reason.

Not sure why everyone editing this is removing the speech bubble of Superman telling the world "I love you" while he floats before it. Such a great moment from the comic, and it would only add to what the creators are trying to do here.

@@jyraya05 basically a superman if he was a hobo. Lives on the streets, drinks, cusses, I wouldn't quite count him as an anti-hero as he sincerely does what's right and posses actual morals, but he's definitely not a conventional superhero
