About the movie

Fearing for her son's life, she urgently moves to a one-room apartment on the outskirts of the city, where she is pestered by alcoholic neighbors, and Rodion becomes a favorite target for hooligan classmates from the district school. Suddenly, Nastya, the daughter of the former boxing champion Nikolai, who raised her alone after the death of his wife, stands up to protect the fragile young man. Their parents do not like the friendship between Nastya and Rodion: Anna and Nikolai from the first meeting felt a sharp antipathy towards each other. However, when Anna is evicted from the apartment and she and her son are left homeless, when Anna finds the father of her child and realizes that he is a scoundrel, it is Nikolai who will become her hope and support.

Еще недавно жизнь Анны была вполне благополучна: на работе она считалась лучшей сотрудницей, дома заботилась о стареньком отчиме и воспитывала 15-летнего сына Родиона, подающего надежды скрипача. И вдруг, в один миг все пошло прахом. С работы уволили по статье из-за интриг завистников, отчим скоропостижно скончался, не успев оставить завещание, и его родной сын Борис тут же заявил свои права на квартиру и принялся запугивать Анну. Опасаясь за жизнь сына, она срочно переезжает в «однушку» на окраине города, где ее донимают соседи-алкоголики, а Родион становится любимой мишенью для хулиганов-одноклассников из районной школы. Неожиданно на защиту хрупкого юноши встает Настя - дочь бывшего чемпиона по боксу Николая, который растил ее один после смерти жены. Дружба Насти и Родиона не нравится их родителям: Анна и Николай с первой встречи почувствовали резкую антипатию друг к другу. Впрочем, когда Анну выселят из квартиры и они с сыном останутся без крова, когда Анна отыщет отца своего ребенка и поймет, что он негодяй, - именно Николай станет для нее надеждой и опорой.
