He is absolutely right. However, the 25th Amendment gives Congress the right to remove Biden from office due to his inability to perform as President. According to a snapshot poll taken by Newsweek, over 50 percent of voters either support or strongly support such an action. I support removing Biden from office, not because of political stance. It’s very refreshing given everyone that’s happened since 2010. They’ve really hit the ground running and made a lot of bold positive changes even in the first week - scrapping the Rwanda scheme, setting up a National Wealth Fund to funnel private investment into renewable energy, on the verge of scrapping planning rules holding the country back from building homes, businesses, power stations, talking to the EU about closer partnership on security, defense, immigration and climate change, committing to higher GDP% spending on defense for NATO, doubling down on Ukraine, scrapping plans for new oil and gas extraction licenses. It’s a really nice feeling.

I hope that Keir Starmer ends up being a good prime minister. It's been disappointing to see him turn the "Labour" party into an insanely right wing party over the last few years and lose a lot of the old labour base. Even if Labour ended up winning a landslide of seats in parliament, they got less actual votes in this 2024 election than they did in 2017... which was absolutely shocking to see. That is a bad sign for the party, considering after the last decade of Conservative government Labour *should* have in theory gained a TON of new votes, which they did not. I hope he doesn't keep moving the party more conservative, or they will be out of power in a couple years because they further ignored their party's history and roots over the last century. It's still crazy to think that Labour gained less actual votes this election than they did a decade ago, almost nobody expected that to be the case. If Keir doesn't deliver, I am afraid that the UK is going to elect someone like Farage who's an actual fascist.

You do realise that's bad though don't you? The fact world leaders are being forced at an international summit to defend the ability of the President of the United States shows there is an issue. If Biden was able to do the job they wouldn't have to defend him, and of course world leaders are going to be positive about Biden, its basic diplomacy, none of them are going to say the obvious that he's to old. This is embarrassing for the US that they are being defended by other presidents and prime ministers. If the US doesn't get its sh#t together Trump will beat Biden, cause this issues not gunna go away as Biden keeps making mistakes.

Yeah that's the worrying part, Biden 2024 looks terrible, what about Biden 2025, 2026, 2027, 2028? Democrats are putting us in a tough spot by sticking with Biden when we said over a year ago, he's too old to run for a second term. I don't want Trump, he's a dictator. But like I don't want a democracy that ends up leading the world into WW3 because Biden's mentally deficient enough to make horrible decisions but not enough to be removed under the 25th amendment. And like you said, every day he gets older, less mentally acute. By the second debate, he could be even worse than the 1st debate. We've all seen relatives quickly decline mentally like this, but it's usually just part of life, they are well past retirement and enjoying their final years.

@@user-bt5qt9pp4x very valid concern, I share it. My assessment is, Democrats will demonstrate they are an intelligent party that listens, assesses, and acts boldly in the public interest -- as opposed to... you know. We need a "political jujitzu." Biden will belong in the next "Profiles in Courage."

@@user-hr8cs2up9q Democrats are far more professional and progressive and the country is in much better hands regardless of which democrat takes the whitehouse you are right so we will have to see what happens. My real concern is that this problem will never go away now the seeds of extremism have been sewn and might be a problem every 4 years now. Republicans will win eventually and they will dismantle democracy so it is a matter of when not if that Americans need to prepare for

If a US President was in the Prime Minister's position, would we want him to wade into British politics or just say, "The Prime Minister was in top form when I saw him."? I would go for the second option, don't meddle in other country's affairs, no good can come of that. If you want answers on Biden's mental capabilities, the last person you want to ask is a foreign leader haha.

It's often a good thing to know others' opinion of us, just like it's a good thing to hear a friend tell us how screwed up we are! And this is not interference. Interference is when another country hacked one candidate's email account and gave the info to the other candidate, and it is collusion when one candidate asked another country to hack his rival's email account to help him.

Yea. be fair here, they were both lying. And he's obviously still Paid by CNN...... CNN, MSNBC,NBC, FOX etc , they are all paid actors pushing an agenda. The whole system is corrupt and its crazy to see people swallow what One mainstream media or the other tells them, without doing their own research. You'd be surprised to find they "ALL" leave out lots of context most of the time. With that being said, if you remove trump from the equation, and are just looking at biden, thinking he's fit to run our country and denying that his age is catching up to him is just plain asinine and shows the level of brainwashing the Left leaning News stations have accomplished. Free yourself, do your own research and dont rely on the Anchors to educate you. Youll be astounded at the information most people never even get.

Sir Keir Starmer is correct and I have complete confidence he speaks the truth. It is for Americans to decide. Furthermore, that is often the nature of memory as we get older...it comes and goes. Sometimes we can be as bright as a new pin, and win plaudits for sharpness, while the next moment a familiar address can slip out of recall for a minute or two.
