I remember watching HUM perform "Stars" on MTV's 120 Minutes with Matt Pinfield hosting. It was July 29, 1995. I'd give anything to be able to go back to that time.

This song was recorded in 1994. Band makes me think of a mix of Smashing Pumpkins and Deftones. I mentioned your channel over on a Rick Beato video. He gets so many comments, I don't know if he'll even see it. But, you never know....

The bridge riff is tabbed right on the first google hit for "Hum Stars Tab" from Ultimate Guitar. The key is the slide on the A string from the 5th to the 7th fret. Once you nail it, the joy of correctness inspires.

Best garage band of the 90's! Weezer and others of the geek rock genre couldnt really hold a candle to this very unpretentious band from the Chicago burbs...they just made it bigger. This was a great guitar cover as well🤘

Tone is awesome, obviously would not have been possible with a stock Strat pick up lol. Is that a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails? I have a Seymour Duncan Lil' Screamin Demon in my strat--same concept, it's a humbucker crammed into the size of a single coil pick up. Seymour makes great pick ups, love your tone.
