important little hint. while the sector is locked out, some items have insane prices, buy the cheap and sell the expensive ones, right after unlocking the sector, the prices will be normal again and you lose this opportunity. aswell as play around with your transmitter, if it's off you can sell on black market without the faction starting to suspect you, BUT you have to reach the planet/station WITHOUT being spotted or followed so it's a gamble, a gamble with gives you 18% more margin on your sales without them hating you for it

Explorer's still talk in hushed tones of The Ironclad Lion and it's graveyard of ships, still floating out there around Penelope's Star. Spacers have many legends and superstitions, and this has joined the ranks of other ghost ship stories in the sector. Salvage crews have long picked the hulls clean, looting in silent rabidity the supplies, weapons, hardware, and even meat from the ships, but the largest hulls of his fabled fleet still float out there in the ink. The stories, of which there are several variations, often talk of The Ironclad Lion having endured battle after battle, before meeting it's ill fated last voyage to Penelope. Some argue that the ships had suffered heavy damage, with many of them spewing fuel into the void. Others, that the Ships were hounded by pirates at every turn, and took to Penelope in an effort to hide, before finally realizing they didn't have the fuel for them all to make it home. One of the nastier tales is the Captain of The Ironclad Lion, along with his favored crew, abandoned the fleet with what supplies and fuel was left and the vain promise they'd return for the rest of the crew. A promise left unfulfilled. But the truth is, from what my buddie's girlfriend's, sister's, hot piece of ass ship mechanic aunt said... was that the entire fleet was robbed of their distress beacons. Now, I don't care who you are. Spacer or earther, that's just dirty. Fatal prank? Sabotage? Who knows.

"The buffalo lacks any significant weaponry" ...i mean it does have an Antimatter Blaster. which is a hell of a slap at this point in the game.

Great beginner tutorial series. Yours is my favorite. One thing you could have mentioned in one of the earlier episodes is the fact that you can sell drugs to the pirate base black market purchased from the main base since you can keep the transponder off for the tutorial. You can do that run multiple times and net you quite a bit.
