An MV is not automatically bad because it is only a dance performance, the issue is the lack of originality of labels to make and bring good production ideas to the music industry and resort to good sets and dance by default out of laziness or lack of good investment management. You have dance scenes in this MV, but it works here because it is implemented within the whole production and has meaning. Edit: at the end of the day, the choreography aspect of Kpop is what actually made Kpop a thing and different from other worldwide music products in the first place

In this MV, it seems like the "good" IVE is being hypnotized/possessed/under spell by the "evil" IVE when the good IVE was in the pool. Gaeul noticed there is something wrong with them (0:00-0:06 notice how all 5 of them were in slow motion in the beginning and 0:07 Wonyoung calling her to go to the pool) that's why she refused to go to the pool, went out, found the evil IVE and removed the Accendio wand, and stole it - thus undoing the spell on or the possession of good IVE. During the time Gaeul left the house up to when the wand was removed, it was only seconds for the 5 members (0:14 see how Rei counted for 8 seconds before they got back up) but for Gaeul, 4 hours has passed (1:25). When the spell was undone, they were back to normal. The wand in the fridge disappeared because even though good IVE was able to defeat evil IVE and turn them into rats, they were not able to physically hold the Accendio wand by midnight, and it magically disappeared into the ocean. The wand seems to have an affinity with water (pool, ocean) and reflections (the existence of another "self"/doppelgangers, use of mirrors, the triangular mirror stand of the wand, the dance battle happening in an alternate/mirror dimension). Overall, LOVE the song and this music video!!! Some fans thought that Gaeul won't have enough screentime because of the trailer, but guess what, SHE IS THE MAIN CHARACTER!!! Actress Gaeul is here???! The transformation scene is JUST. SO. COOL. Rei is literally Sailor Moon 2.0, Leeseo as Cardcaptor Sakura 2.0, Wonyoung summong the wand is so anime-esque!!!

@@bubblezsdiary it’s (imo) about Gaeul first going missing, then stealing a magic wand from the ‘bad-ive’ gang, and then coming back to the ‘good-ive’ so she can keep the wand safe till 12 (mentioned in the mv). Bad-ive follows gaeul back and finds her. Bad and good ive fight. Bad IVE goes away(?) when clock struck 12. The wand somehow teleports to another part of the world, for another kid to keep it safe.

Omgg!! IVE once again making history, this song is so good when I listen to it, but also when watching the whole MV it's giving me chills. Cause I'm loving this MV that is just like a movie. Whenever they transforming it reminds me of Winx (that's a cartoon show) and I feel like the girls are living their childhood dreams. Overall, I love this MV concept and idea! It's cute, interesting, and fun to watch! Addition to it, the music is really good too! I'm so happy that IVE is growing!!

I love how Gaeul is the literal main character for this mv. This type of action concept was not what I was expecting from IVE but they killed it. The song was already such a beautiful & catchy song & the MV changed my life. They are starting to go back to making music videos instead of glorified dance practices lol. This is how music videos should be done in my opinion. Dancing is cool but a story behind your song will sell it a bit better.

@@SBBunny93it's weird how mv have evolved in K-pop, they used to be glorified dance practices especially during early to mid 2nd gen, from late 2nd gen they started to be more complex.

@@SBBunny93 Totally agree, as an "old" kpop stan (2009) i'm seeing an evolution in terms of storyline. I get how HARD must be to create an aesthetic that fit the group and cannot be categorized as a generic cute or girl-crush concept. Nowdays what really set apart groups, vocals aside, is their creative direction and marketing strategies.

@@rookiethegoat It wasn't exactly the same, but watch the end of snsd's Oh! mv. I found the scene in Ive's mv to be similar of that. Kind of like opposite "concepts" looking down on each other
