She's not a Pop Star, she's a Rock Star who sings Pop songs and also does Theater while she's at it. 👌🏻♥️ And she's always been into Arts, she always called herself a Performance Artist, never a Pop Star, not a celebrity, not a singer. Also she likes to be different, so when every artist in the scene of the lower east side of NY dive bars were doing singer song writer indie rock acts, she was always into Rock and even had a cover band singing Led Zeppelin xd but then she wanted to do the most different shocking disgusting thing that one could do in that particular scene and that was Pop Music xdd because everyone thought it was low brow and Ew, so she was the only act doing Pop Music there, she stands out from the crowd, with burlesque and Dance elements lol dancing to Rock music in between her Pop songs lighting spray cans on Fire in her bedazzled homemade bikinis with a feather hat over her head, she wanted to change the way they see or think about Pop xD and that's how she started, and it translated into her first album, she loves to be the opposite of what everyone expects from her. And also when on Theater auditions they told her "You're too Pop" and at events with label execs they told her "You're too Theater" she figured out she was screwed but at the end she got inspired by Bowie, Freddie Mercury and Grace Jones and said you know what, f*ck it, I am both! This is the way I can do all the things I've always loved and bring them together into one single act. And she brought visuals, fashion, technology, pop and theater into her performances! 😌♥️🙌🏻 Also in the Music Industry in 2008 Dance music wasn't considered mainstream or Pop, it was just for clubs and she made it commercial Pop xD she always changed the game, and further on that, the Fashion Industry didn't want to have anything to do with the Music Industry they were like ew no, until Gaga arrived, suddenly all wanted to collaborate with her, respected her in their community and soon after all the other Pop stars and Rappers wanted to dress avant garde and wear head pieces over their heads because they didn't wanna look basic next to Gaga at Awards shows or Live TV Performances or Music Videos lol she changed Pop Culture! 😂 Also was the first artist to give a name to her fan base "Little Monsters" and make them be part of the conversation, after her all the other singers fan base names started appearing lol talk about changing the game!
