You basically pay from your own pocket for the training and the uniforms. There are more trainings during your work years.

tubi mayum If you want to try for RYANAIR, just make sure you have some money at least to pay by your pocket the first two months of rent and food wherever they base you (and of course also the rent of whatever accomodation you find during the training. By the way now the training is free. I like the job, just don't expect to become rich..

May i ask you something...my height is 1.89 so it's bigger than your limit(1.88) by one centimeter.Is this problem to apply for a recruitment day?

STA8ITO when I was on recruitment day , they did mention that you have to fit in those heights.

Agatka Kowalska i know i have to mention my height...but why is there the limit of 1.88 meters?Does it has to do with the law?I tried to apply for the position and i had to agree that i am less than the limit.The problem is that i am 1.89 meters.Should i apply or not?

They don't really measure you..the only thing body related that is prohibited is to have a tattoo that is on arms, legs, face, neck, feet (for girls) for boys you can have them on legs and feet because you wear pants and shoes that don't show the feet..

STA8ITO there is the limit because the aircraft you will be operating on (the 737-800) have the cabin 1,88 mts high or little more

you need to pay for the courses and uniforms, so if you’re broke this is not an option for you.

For anyone wondering right now: You'll need some money to cover accommodation/transport costs during the 6 week training and at least one month of rent in your base city. The rest is free, including flights to the training centre and to the base, the training itself and the uniform.

Be careful, it's one of the worst disasters I ever seen in my life. Training is enjoyable, but when you pass - there is no money for your work. You will usually get sacked shortly after you finished paying off you training course.That's the truth - sorry Winnetou. :D

@@sxphie5280 NO, but you have to pay your accommodation during training for 3 weeks abroad and also consider all your monthly personal expenses... I had to pay 4.000 euros...so I passed. So it is better to go in a school to become cabin crew....it costs 3.000 per year

That's not quite true. The training is free and you don't have to pay it off. Your salary might be lower on the first year, though

I was just about to go to Hahn Germany with Ryanair to do Cabin Crew training, To be honest I would highly recommend you do not apply, even though the training is now free for a limited time only you still have to pay €800-€1000 for accommodation also you have to spend an extra €150-€200 on an AME certificate(which has to be from outside the UK) plus an extra 400 to live at the training camp which looks like an abandoned shithole in the middle of nowhere, it gets even worse they then make you go to class for 9 hours a day and then make you study for a further 3 hours for 5 days a week for 6 weeks. Also Ryanair treat you like a total piece of shit, they barely communicate with you and they make you sort everything out on your own, My point is, Why the fuck would you go through this I mean all that for a minimum wage job, it gets even worse ryanair only pay you €28 per day on the training so you're definitely going to have to save money before hand and then when the training is over they work you 40-50 hours per week with a lot of them hours being un paid. There is a good reason why they where voted europes worst airline, AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!
