@@read.with.rupkatha ok so i dont know if youre being sarcastic but for anyone else who may wonder- Hyacinth was a pretty good looking lad. Both apollo and zephyr liked him- like a lot. Apollo was “playing discus” with hyacinth- keep in mind that “sports” was a common enough euphemism for sex and “leg injuries” often connoted... uh- ball injuries, so given the fact that versions of the myth survived saying that they had oiled themselves up (something usually done only for wrestling) and spent the afternoon together doing... stuff- i think its fair to say they may have been banging. Btw zeph killed hyacinth out of jealousy because of a “if i cant have you then no one can” mindset, and was thus provided refuge when apollo (rather understandably) wanted to kill him, from eros, setting up his servitude to eros for a future myth. In later greek thinky thoughts this would have been categorised as manic love, one of the seven pillars of love. Another example of this would be selene and endymion.

As much as I knew Apollo and Hyacinth were lovers and were playing discus where, when Apollo threw the discus, it sailed high up to the skies and Hyacinth wanted to impressed his lover so he ran to catch it but instead died when it hit his head.

Maybe it's just me but it gives me vibes pertaining to World War One. 'So you want to start a war?' Tensions were rising across Europe with imperialism and the rise of mechanized warfare. Territory disputes boiled into warfare 'Bang shots fired' The assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand. From that line the countries gear up for the Great War, the war to end all wars. The phrase 'age of icons' sounds ironic with the idea that the generation that fought in this war is the forgotten generation. Something icons aren't really. All those who gone into battle just become faces on a photo that become numbers in statistics. Honoured but not remembered. Something that also relates to 'If history is dead and gone then how did we get here' makes me think of the mindset as the war gone on. What was once seen as something that would be over by Christmas became an arguably pointless war and in deplorable conditions from the point of view of a soldier. 'How did we get here, my God' How did such a bloody and horrific point in history end up being put into action. The horrors the soldiers have witnessed. Makes me think of a soldier saying this on November 11, when it ended. All those years of fighting leaving a bloody and muddy trail of horror in their wake. And they just feel horrified with what the end result was. It wasn't a blaze of glory, only a silent whisper. A bittersweet feeling.

@@alexisharrington7621 Yeah basically there was this huge party where everyone was invited exept Eris and she was mad about it so she threw an golden apple amongst the guest which read "for the most beautiful" Hera, Athena and Aphrodite all wanted apple so they made Zeus choose whom to give it to but he didn't want to be the judge so he suggested that Paris (A handsome mortal shepard or something) would be the judge. So all three went to Paris and at first he didn't want to do it because he was kinda afraid that the 2 others would kill him but eventually he agreed and made them undress and checked them out one by one. They all tried to bribe Paris into choosing them but Paris was just like naahh except he was interested in Aphrodites promise of giving him the most beautiful woman in the world Helen and so he chose Aphrodite and she made sure he got Helen ( sorry if there is any mistakes in my writing english isn't my first language )

You got it mostly right, but Athena is t e c h n i c a l l y the goddess of warfare (the strategy aspect of war), and Artemis is also the goddess of archery and the moon (but there are like five moon goddesses, so yeah).

A few weeks ago, I dreamed that me and a few friends started a rebellion/war and built a tall fort that we could fire down from. The aesthetics of everything were eerily similar to the background for this song- same view, and although we were wearing different attire and our fort was made of what looked like marble rather than sandstone, the crown on this character's head is absolutely spot-on.

but transformers prime tho I'm sorry, it just fits so well to the relationship between Megatron and Optimus. Optimus, a new prime, is concerned for his old friend. He is reluctant to fight Megatron and is desperately trying to talk him down while the other Autobots are working to hide the allspark. Megatron is not interested in listening and Soundwave is actively hunting the other bots. I may just have to animate this
