Today, I’ve recorded the whole process of printing a shirt from beginning to end (mostly) uncut! My hope is that this gives you an idea of the full print process and everything that goes into it. Thanks for watching my video. Hopefully, this was either helpful or entertaining to somebody out there!

Not 100% sure but check out "Amedio Teo" on YT. This guy is a person who has the GTX and F2100 who used to make some really good content for DTG printing.

Hey glad I came across your channel really quality detail! Wanted to ask you if you tried dtf with caps and how to get good results without scorching the cap ? 2- anyway around the intervals for pressing pretreat? 3- I couldn't find your video how you do full submersion of shirts in pretreat would like to see that as well. Thank You ! Keep up the great work !

DTF on caps works great. If you are having scorching issues with it, use less heat or a cover sheet to protect the hat With pretreat, all you are doing is evaporating the water and leaving the solution in the shirt. I press it in intervals because it helps reduce the "DTG box". You can let it air dry as well or if you have a bigger shop, use a conveyer. I've just found longer presses are more likely to cause the "DTG box" staining so this helps me prevent it. I don't use the full submersion pretreat system as much anymore because of my smaller volume but I still have the system. I may make a video fully covering it in the future but if you'd like, you can reach out to legitprints.net which is the business that produces the equipment along with other related products.

Thank you so much, very interesting. Which is the composition of the shirts you use? 100% cothon or they have some polyester too? Thanks!

In my opinion 100% cotton will give the best result but you can do it with Polyester. You will just need to pretreat differently for the polyester to get better results.

In this video you say you bought your F2100 from equipment zone. You also mentioned that when you were first starting out that you were super frustrated and regretted getting it. I was on the phone with an equipment zone salesman rep today for an hour. She assured me that while epson tech support can take up to 48 hours,if we ever had any printing issues that equipment zone tech support will stay on the phone with us for as long as it takes to get the issue fixed. Did you find this true? We have a retail store with lots of walk ins and can’t really afford to be down even for an hour. Do you think this machine would drive us nuts? Thank so much in advance. Your videos are really informative. Probably the best I’ve seen since I’ve started researching.

Thanks for watching! If I said I bought it from Equipment Zone, I mis spoke. I purchased mine from All American Print Supply Company BUT, if I were to purchase again, I would absolutely buy from Equipment Zone given how much help they have been with troubleshooting and through their Facebook groups. Regarding the Epson tech support. I have only had to contact them a few times but the times that I did, I was definitely impressed. If its something they can't help with over the phone, they will send a tech to help in person. If you have the warranty, this is completely free. If not, you may have to pay for their time to come out. As for downtime, it really depends on what's wrong with it. To be honest, look at the numbers real close before deciding. When I purchased it, the machine was pretty much 2x the cost of what it is at now. But even with it being only around $10k usd, keep in mind the cost of ink and maintenance. If you don't get Kothari rip software and use OEM ink, prints can be pretty pricey. Just make sure you know what you are getting into before you get one!

I come to know that this printer practically 'drinks' white ink and it requires constant ink circulation. Is that what is your experience?
@LovesBranding
@LovesBranding Жыл бұрын
Yes, it does use a lot of white ink. I try to keep the printer on only when I'm printing to minimize ink circulation. It does also cycle whenever you power it on. This keeps the thick white ink from clogging the machine which is common on many DTG printers. With DTG, compete with quality rather than price and charge accordingly for your time and the cost of ink. There are ways to reduce the ink cost but usually void your warranty with Epson. The easiest, non-voiding way is to use a rip software such as Kothari to reduce the amount of white ink used.
