Start up of a 12v Cummins after 5 years of sitting.

3 жыл бұрынWell I engine seem to run pretty good after we put a new oil filter on lol. Not bad for a engine that sat for 5-6 years we didn’t even have to open the fuel lines. Not bad for a old 12v Cummins.

if i can , i like to change oil and roll the engine 360 degrees if its not in the truck. let it set then start it. it gets freaky thinking about bare metal parts on parts somewhere inside that engine.

Why does it sound like the engine is chugging? And what’s causing it? Low fuel pressure air in fuel? Bad injector?

Just the sound the intake makes with no cac pipes on it

For some reason my new lift pump on the 12v doesn’t receiving fuel no matter how many times I pump the primer

You might need to force feed it a bit
