I've been marking spots on public lands and one private hunting area on google maps. I have a climbing tree stand so I'm just going to try and get in super early before dark, find a trail, and set up accordingly depending on the wind direction. The problem is where the parking spots are located and trying to head to the spot with the wind in my face. Also, I tend to sweat a lot when lugging my climber stand and climbing up the tree, which probably makes all the scent hiding stuff I wear useless. If you have time I could send you some screenshots of what I mapped out so you could give me some constructive feedback. Thanks.

Jacob thanks for the videos. They are really helpful. I have only been able to get out once this year, and the mosquitos were terrible! I have a hard time with facemasks cause I wear glasses and they tend to fog up. Anyway I have been holding off from going to my one perminant stand cause the wind hasn't been right. I plan on going Wednesday because the forcast says the wind should be right. I have a climber too so when I can I have different areas I can hunt. Anyway thanks again for the videos.

If I’m hunting a good plot, and I have stand on a tree line , I guess I want wind to be blowing in my face to blow my scent away from food plot? Is that right? If Wind was blowing on my back, then it would cause smell to be all over food plot . Am I thinking about this correctly?
