This run took 301 resets. It turned out to be much easier than I had anticipated, and I certainly didn't have to spend an entire month theory-crafting and practicing for this cycle.

What are you on about, 4* are not f2p friendly, because you need high constallations, whereas you can roll for a 5* every other/third banner and have it working, while getting a c6 4* is a nightmare.

Thank you for being transparent that this took 301 retries. It is so easy to get demoralized watching what look like smooth clears with 4 star only teams and not realize resetting due to bad RNG or screwing up is a common experience!

These are highly invested powerful 4 star characters and weapons played beautifully, making everyone feel like shit how much skills and rotations matter and the perfect use of elements and their timings.

This abyss isnt TOO bad but the second half is downright abysmal with the stupid amount of waves. WHY did they think 3 waves was a good idea??? Especially with enemies with that much health

@@taru5156floor 12 is still hard sometimes if u dont have proper rotations and good artifacts even for older players with many 5 star characters. yeah i find abyss easy too now that i played for 3 years but it usually took me around 2-3 reset. below floor 12 is ofc easy lol

if you rly think "getting good" is the only point of playing this game, imo you're not better than those tryhard metacucks that pulls only for the sake of meta tbh. enjoy the game however you want man. enjoy new characters, enjoy pulling for new hot mommies in town, enjoy pulling together with your mates and get hyped up when someone got early pity or have a laugh when someone inevitably lose 5050, enjoy speed running, enjoy being a masochist and spend 6hr on abyss runs with dehya&amber only n stuff whatever

@al5vin964 I wasn’t ready to do starter characters only runs until 3.8, which didn’t contain consecrated beasts. Unfortunately, based on leaks, consecrated beasts may appear in 4.7 Spiral Abyss, so I need to get ready for that. On a side note, I recommend checking out liilli’s channel. 4 stars can literally 36 star any abyss cycle when you have Xingqiu, Bennett, Xiangling, Sucrose, Fischl, Kuki Shinobu and Yaoyao

As much as I’d like my videos to perform well, I also hope that liilli also gets more popular too. They’re another starter characters only player that often plays better than I do, but they get much less attention.

Well while bloom is 2xLvL multi compared to Hypers 3xLvl Multi, bloom not only has aoe but also Doesn’t require a trigger character to proc them. (like kuki for hyper). Because of this, bloom dmg can more consistently go to max out the bloom reactions dmg limiter, which is 2 instances per 1/2 sec. trigger characters struggle to even get close to effectively maxing out the multiplier. The advantage of hyperbloom lies in its ability to have just one character go full em, and the rest can just do whatever.

@@DavidMartinez-mx3fn i recommended looking up build guides and team comps for abyss. i struggled to even make it past floor 12-1 until recently where i built my supports like xingqiu, bennett, kazuha, helped a lot

Honestly - oh my god. Even after so much resets, a month of planning and a limited roster, you still managed to clear floor 12 gaining all 9 stars. I love how you outsmarted Hoyoverse by making this F2P actually F2P😭😭 mad respect for you. This is motivating me to build my characters lol

I just started the 4.6 abbyss run yesterday using a very not f2p friendly characters, and even after several rerun and mix and match party member, I only got 5* on floor 12.. I almost give up and thinking that this abbyss is unbeatable.. but suddenly this video appear on my youtube and Im so speechless with the characters selection and how smooth the run in.. Amazing skills you got there, thanks for making this awesome and eye opening content!

That was some good ass Genshin. What makes the video even better was that you explain even the small nuances of your positioning and rotation often. Your artifacts is good but not that crazy to obtain compared to other "F2P" videos. Using Sword of Narzi, Ameno Traveler to trigger fall damage to your advantage, Lynette's taunt skill to run a non healer/shielder team was nice. You was digging deep in the box of tricks. Good stuff.

Very nicely done again! Seeing you able to clear with only like 9 characters available to you is impressive Something about 12-1-2 third wave taking twice as long as the entirety of 12-1-1, they really went kind of crazy with that half of the Abyss

This, abyss was never about the skill in the first place, it's your team's time/money investment check. So if you have shit RNG with getting good artifacts, it'll be harder for you to build your characters better = harder to clear the abyss.

With regards to timing palm vortex, it does accelerate. if you look at the entry Vacuum_Field in some wikis, anything with a strength of 4 or higher with a radius of 5 or more can do this. There are some ICD rules at play, but you can consistently do more physics damage/fall damage on demand. I say physics damage instead, because it is not limited to the floor. You can, with the right application, cause damage to occur against walls too. In the best case scenario: you can do fall damage and then physics damage right after using the wall right behind them.

Thanks, 👍! I’m more relieved that it didn’t take as many resets as it did in previous Spiral Abyss cycles. I needed 548 resets for 4.2 Spiral Abyss and 427 resets for 4.4 Spiral Abyss.
