girl i know that's right, I have hella baby hairs, so because of that I made the locs at the front thicker then rest too. i aint tryna have no edges issues as time goes on.

This was really helpful. I started with comb coils and am about a month and a half in. I wear head wraps all of the time so that was really validating 😂 but I’m excited for the journey and you and your locs are gorgeous sis 💜💜💜

Thanks for the video, I'm literally one month on my locs. Do you have to keep your locs tied up with scraf/du rags or keeping the head scraf wraps with the ends out ok for starter locs? How often should I retwist my locs?

You’re welcome! You have to see what works for your hair I don’t like to go to long because my hair grows out of my locs and I don’t like to pop them so I feel like 4-6 weeks works best for me and I’ll just wrap my hair around my locs in between. I sleep with a scarf on and when I started my hair was short so they didn’t stick out of the bottom but now they do. If yours are longer I’d prob try and cover them all together to avoid extra lint getting in them as they form.

I show my parts in my Starter Loc tips and details on my locs video. You can show who’s starting them and they can let you know. I’d say imperfect squares.
