It's 7 months in now so i know your hair has grown since then but this was so pretty on you. You have given me confidence to start my 2nd set. I cut my locs 3 months ago because of similar issues and i regret it. My original plan was just to reattach my locs . After i cut it i realized how beautiful they were. Thank you for this video. I am 5 days into my journey and I am having a hard time! The frizz and unruliness is out of control. My loctician told me to come back in 6 weeks but whew chile.. I stumbled upon your channel from CreoleJazz page... #NewSubbie Your baby locs are EVERYTHING and sistah you are IMMENSELY BEAUTIFUL 😍 I'm 4 years loc'd and I love my locs; however, they are starting to break and more than a few are starting to get extremely thin at the roots. I have a friend that says she can repair them. If she isn't able to I'm considering cutting them off and starting all over. Unfortunately stress and the lack of self-care and taking care of my hair, my beautiful locs suffered. Sis... the beginning of your loc journey is beautiful. I can't wait to see your locs evolve.

I started on just as short a month before you and let me tell you there’s something about when the growth start kicking in it’s beautiful lol I was traveling recently i let my hair do what it wanted to do got stares and everything and had to keep telling myself to keep your head up sis you know what you doing let them stare. I’m documenting mine as well if you wanna see cause i definitely want to be kept updated on your journey! Also yes definitely be consistent I was the same way for years wanted to start and finally did last year and honestly it’s a great choice. You’ll love it.

Girl I’m 3 and a half months loc’d , we started about the same hair length exactly ! I’m just seeming not to make any progress with length :/ idk if that’s because I interlocked and instant loced but my hair is not movable it seems at all. How have you achieved your length 😍 or just some advice because I feel like I am using the oils and hydrating my body and hair but I’m stagnant :(

I have a question? So how long would you say your hair is exactly? My hair was pretty long before and I wanted to get locked up sooo bad but could never find the time to do so smh but I did cut it and I’m starting over I have a short and I do mean short!!! Fro lol I’m giving myself at least six months to grow it and then hopefully I can start my loc journey by this June coming up ❤
