Lots of potential, I hope you keep us updated, its a very interesting situation you find yourself in! There could be a lot of wisdom focusing on the hay enterprise initially. There is a much lower capital investment there than in row cropping, especially given your tractor. Your crop ground will essentially be rented out with you providing some labor to the renter as well, you simply don't have the equipment at the moment for crop work. Is the bull going to stay a bull and be the start of a cow calf operation with your new bottle calf? You have the potential for a lot of revenue streams slowly getting going. My advise would be to move slowly and try to live cheap, and don't get any more involved with the bankers than you have to! That last part is the most important.

I have a 3020 and 4020 that had battery issues for years. I found out that the batteries had been good and the main issue was the ground. I ended up using a heavy gage wire for a better ground. I have not had any issues since then. Hopefully that will be a easy fix for you.
