Hey everybody! I hope you all enjoy the first episode of this new series I'm trying out! Here's the idea - it's just a regular old Minecraft let's play with the intention of being very relaxing to watch. Nothing incredible, spectacular, or mega is going to take place here, in fact quite the opposite. Everything is going to be purposefully simple. Whether you want to take twenty minutes just to chill out and watch me play Minecraft or have it on as background noise and listen to my commentary as well as the peaceful, satisfying sounds. That is up to you. Either way, I hope you like it and let me know if you'd like to see more! Also, my regular Minecraft let's play series is NOT going away so don't worry :)

Something i find very annoying is that every time i start a new minecraft world i go into a small cave then 5 minutes later i have diamonds, like i don't want stone until day 2 but ofcourse there's diamonds and iron EVERYWHERE

It’s so refreshing to not be bombarded with sensory information on a Minecraft let’s play. No over the top shouting, no ridiculously fast paced gameplay, just a beautiful game being enjoyed for what it is. Really looking forward to this ❤

The different colored sheep is never an issue, especially when you're in a flower biome, just dye the wool all one color and boom, a fancy non-sheep colored bed, but I like that you were able to stick it out without one anyway by mining, I just don't have good luck with mobs and always get creepers sneaking up on me so I like having my beds lol

4 minutes in. This is very relaxing. Watching while going to bed. So far I like the lack of cuts and edits. It brings me back to the early days of minecraft youtube. I usually don't like shader, but these are lovely.

I found your channel yesterday. I’m so happy to have finally found a Minecraft KZfaqr who doesn't rush everything they do. Listening to you calms my nerves and your videos so far have brought me much joy while I've been stuck in bed with the flu. Marloe I’ve taken great inspiration from your build videos over the last year and only just started watching your let’s plays with my son. My son, wife and I play together as a family frequently and although you said so much quite literally in one of your videos I want to thank you for delivering a message that we find so important to for our son and this video says it more subtly. That immediate reward is often not as rewarding as we may expect, and enjoying an experience (in this case playing the game is a reward in itself) Thanks again. Keep up the great work.

Honestly at the start, u could just use the lily of the valley flower next to the sheep, get dye, and dye the brown sheep for the wool

You could have dyed that wool. There were tons of flowers around you to get a bed the first night. I really like the way you shot this video.. also I commented before you found 1000 sheep right afterwards lol

So, you really don't need the same color wool, if you're going to make a red bed. Get some red flowers, and with the crafting table you can turn all the wool you get (2 white, 1 brown) to red wool, then make a red bed. That is a new thing I think in 1.20. You can make any color wool different using dye from flowers, even brown wool to red.

You can pick up three flowers of the same colour, make dye, dye three sheep and have yourself a bed

I like starting a new world on Minecraft by taking the time to collect resources on the first day of survival, and food is very important as well as a bed. I liked the flowers, they are very colorful.

Very immersive and chill, love this style! Looks like a nice seed. I like the ambient background sounds. The footstep sounds were a bit too loud though I think.

An underrated method of getting wool for making a bed for your first night is to make shears and simply shear the sheep. Then if there is only one or two you can just wait for it to grow back. Though usually people don't have enough iron in episode 1 to do that.
