Starting a Revolution (Italo Disco Documentary)

3 жыл бұрынEver since the eighties Dennis van den Berg, Chris Duyvestijn and Michael Halve have been great fans of Italo Disco music. Throughout the years, they’ve seen many Italo artist perform live. In their own country The Netherlands, but also in Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Germany and Italy. They have seen many artist perform, except for one of the greatest artists: Martinelli.
‘Starting a Revolution’ is an Italo disco documentary about three friends trying to organise an Italo party with a live performance of Aldo Martinelli and Simona Zanini. Will they succeed or is this artist out of league?

Doctor s Cat - alias MARTINELLI LIVE and Singing Feel the Drive !!!! 1984 i beginn here in Germany as DJ , and now 2020, i live and worked in Germany as DJ, but... the good old Italo Disco Time is unforgotten, Best Time in Life....... Great Job guys!! And the Italo Party continues: 01.04.2022 in Basel (Switzerland). Martinelli/Zanini live at Club Parterre-One. Organized by the guys of Formel80, a legendary 80s partyseries in switzerland. Maybe we see each other again!

Martinelli in Stompwijk... Als je dat in de jaren 80 had geroepen🤣🤣. Wat een leuke productie en wat een fantastisch project. Geweldig die passie van jullie en ja ik begrijp dat he-le-maal. Ikzelf heb de grote wens om Paul Parker nog eens te zien optreden en het lijkt er nu toch echt op dat hij naar Nederland komt. Hopenlijk lukt het om erbij te zijn en datzelfde euforische gevoel te ervaren wat jullie hadden bij Martinelli.

Nederlandse Italo? In onze belevingswereld komt Italo uit Italië... ;-) Maar ja, wij zijn dan ook eerste generatie Italo puristen. Als je op zoek bent naar Nederlandse disco uit de jaren 80 die lekker aanschuurt tegen Italo, dan moet je eens wat dingen luisteren van LASER DANCE, ATTACK, PROOF OF ENERGY, GOTCHA en meer van het Rotterdamse HotSound-label. Succes!
