I know this may be a dumb question but does she still run on Kerosene ? What an Art to starting up the old girl. Small hit and miss to get the big guns running. I bet the small one has some Horse power too ? If she runs on kerosene that is one expensive gal to run . Kerosene here in Mich is $4.50 to $5.00 American . Thanks Doc for posting this .

It will be running on straight pump gas now... To burn Kerosene it has to be up to operating temp.. and on the high side of that.

Wow she ran hot in the old days.Dam I can imagine the possible concern with fire in the field !!! Just amazed when these brave souls stick their feet on these old girls to start. First time I seen the small engine getting her up and running. Thank you again sir !!!

Kerosene is actually just diesel at the pump.
@josephjarrell83424 жыл бұрын
Roger Tycholiz closer to number 1 diesel but a lot cleaner

You start and shut down on petrol. Swap over to kerosene (tvo) when the engine is hot. *Do not* forget to swap back to petrol before you shut down or you will not enjoy spending the next day draining down the fuel lines, refilling them with petrol, and starting up. These engines won't start cold on kerosene.

Farmall Doctor WHERE IS IT USUALLY SHOWN? I WOULD LIKE TO PUT ON MY MUST SEE LIST!!
@FarmallDoctor3 жыл бұрын
@@rossbryan6102 It is owned by Wendell Kelch of Bethel, Ohio. I have seen it a few times at the National Threshers in Wauseon Ohio. It usually goes when they feature IHC or prarie tractors.
