A over the counter retinol is strong too. I love how the results of a 1% pure retinol does but my cheeks can get red and irritated quickly. Just use a moisturizer before application. That is a game changer.

One can use Bakuchiol if one has extremely sensitive skin like me. It can be used during pregnancy & lactation as well. It's much safer than all the 4 retinoids. Individuals with sensitive skin can use carrier peptides & enzyme inhibitor peptides as well. Love from Mumbai, Jenny!

Luv your videos! So so helpful!!!! Ive never introduced a retinol to my regimen and was going to try the skinbetter alpharet as ive heard its good for sensitive skin. Was going to try their Trio moisturizer as well but i noticed it has some actives (niacinamide and salicylic acid) and i currently use Alastin restorative as my moisturizer and it has niacinimide high on the list. Should i avoid both of these when first starting the alpharet?

The product I wanted to add was the Mayasma Serum, to use with my Omnilux mask. Do you think even an antioxidant like this would be better to avoid for now? There are soooo many, I have the Inn beauty project retinol serum and I like it, but then I have the dr Dennis gross cream with retinol and tret and I have opened all so I’m kind of struggling to use all but not over exfoliate and irritate my skin
