😭😭omgggggggg ….. literally thanking God for your life ! I remembered first seeing your page … and loving your content but I always was curious about your style. I recalled being saved myself and babyyyy … I love a body suit… I was in church body suit and kitten heals … and extra extra long nails …. But I was in love with Jesus . Then one day I felt a conviction . I remember crying all the way to the nail shop because I could not get the word modesty out of my mind …. I was so broken . Years later I look back and recognized that was God correcting me … I have friends that are Christian and still on their journeys. We have different styles but I keep my mouth shut … when my conviction came it was from God not from a human and that is why I was able to shift my style . You are created in Gods image…. I am so excited to see where you go. Be strong this walk is not easy but rewarding and God will strengthen you in Jesus name .

Literally my same story! Didn’t know my own sense of style/comfort and just decided to become a hijabi in pursuit of a closer relationship w God and it did so much to protect me in college from being immodest spaces and boost my confidence bc I was dressed in a way that complimented my body type (instead of being a fashion nova babe just cause) and shielded me from the male gaze (I was still being recognized for my beauty but in a less sexualized manner)

There are ways to wear these items modestly. I wear crop tops with high waisted pants and it can look very modest. I have learned it’s how you wear the clothes and the amount of sexiness you display. For example. Pair a tight shirt with a baggy bottom. Also modesty means different things to different people. I actually get more attention from guys when I wear baggy clothes. But when I wear sophisticated clothes that may form to my body I carry myself with class when I wear it so I look modest despite seeing some of the curves on my body. It’s a learning process. But one thing I know God does like is for a woman to still take care of herself and have a graceful beauty

I disagree with your premise that modesty is an amount of covering. A naked body does not mean a person is immodest, they could simply be lacking clothing. A thigh is not nakedness or Jesus washed His disciples feet naked in a towel. And if men with men was OK to show nakedness then Peter shouldn't have covered his naked body before walking on the water to Jesus. Peter was correct to cover his naked body, and Jesus wearing just a towel was not naked. The Israelites wearing Egypt's revealing clothes through the wilderness was not nakedness. The thigh is not nakedness. The privates are nakedness. Breaches for the priests were from the waist to the thigh, not over the thigh or to the knee. To the thigh, the purpose? To hide the reproductive organs, to keep the sexual jucies contained, to be clean. But to hide the whole thigh and to call it nakedness on everyone is just wrong. Everyone is not naked. Spirituality many are, but physically they have need of nothing. They are not physically blind, but spirituality they are. Hiding with fig leaves again, when it was bloody skins that covered Adam and Eve. It was blood that covered the Israelites from the death angel and its the blood of Jesus that I'm trusting in as my righteousness today. I grew up swimming in pants and a shirt, and now I still don't wear shorts much in summer due to how I was raised. But I also have swam at the beach in just swim trunks, and I have seen both sides of the coin. Modesty is not a covering, just as wearing the helmet of salvation or being clothed with humility is not physical coverings, but they are all inner attributes that we are to have. Lust, I don't know how you quantify when you've lusted or not, but my guess is most people are admiring beauty and thinking it's lust and feeling bad for it. Admiring beauty is not wrong. Looking on a woman to lust after her is wrong because it's not only adultery that's wrong but just the intention of adultery is wrong. Same with murder. Just pure hatred for someone is good enough intent to leave someone to die. Jesus showed that the intention of the heart makes you guilty as doing the crime itself. But a high percent of guys are just admiring ladies and respecting them and would die for them. Admiring the beauty of the body is not lust. Beauty is not evil. It's the heart and actions that can be evil. I've seen covered people so full of pride I'd never call them modest, and I've seen bikini ladies so sweet and loving with humility that apologized and covered when judged by prudish legalistic religious people. A bikini don't make you modest or immodest, it's your heart and love toward those around you. The whole point of modesty is to not be better dressed than others be it more covered or less covered. Be relatable, humble, admirable, beautiful, with modesty of wearing relatable things. Let each wear what is beautiful to her own husband. Let her be a show of his beauty and character. It will honor them, and their God. Love one another.

@@sagittariusbeauty Theirs? Jesus is God. 1/3 of God didn't save the world while 2/3s sat in heaven watching. There's not 3 persons, but one God who is Emmanuel which means, God with us. Jesus said, before Abraham was I AM, and when you see me, you're seeing the father, and both times they tried stoning Him for saying such powerful statements. I'm not speaking for God, but I have proved many things out. Prove all things. The body isn't sexual in itself, but when we believe something about the body is sinful, it takes on sexual meaning. I can see my naked wife, and not get turned on, but when she plays up on her body she can really turn it up. A foot isn't sexual, you'd agree, but put some sexual play into it, and you've got a foot fetish sexual video. Same with a ballet dancer that's just pretty compared to a pole dancer wearing the same thing but playing up on her sexuality. That's why, I believe it's good to wear what others wear to the beach or gym as it's not for sex but for beauty and functionality. Yes, the more skin and form that shows, the more beautiful one can appear in general. But more skin showing does not make someone into a sex object. People in the summer wear shorts, and I'm not turned on. But yet, anything can be sexualized, but the body is not sexual without playing it up. There's nudity in some parts of the world and mother's breasts showing, but it's not for sexuality, but play it up, and you can make it sexual. Now, don't show nakedness, that's wrong, that's like the holiest of holies, between a man and his wife. Sacred, and protected. Our body is a temple, you'd agree. We can learn from the pattern of Ezekiel's temple in the Bible. We wear coverings, and Ezekiel's temple had coverings, and we can learn from it. There was an outer court, that's our outer clothing. There was an inner court, that's our inner clothing, and there was the holliest of holies, that's our privates, our nakedness. To see into the holiest of holies, or to see nakedness in the bible law was both punished by death. But to be in the public outer court and look into the inner court was fine and anyone could do it. You can see anyone's inner clothing. Not once mentioned as wrong to see in all the law. Nakedness yes is wrong for others to see, but not inner clothes. That's what the type and shadow of Ezekiel's temple indicates though I bet you don't like it. The difference is if you were in the inner court you were in the company of greater protection than the outer court. And again, the holiest of hollies had the greatest protection. In the holiest of holies it was God and the priest, in marriage it's the husband and the wife. Now at the beach you can wear your inner court clothes, but protection is key. You ought not to be by yourself, but with someone you trust. Friends, family, husband, these are the ones that are there for your protection in life. It's not a sin for inner clothes to show, but be protected when wearing such beauty. This is the patter that we see from a Temple and it's coverings in the Bible. I know you won't like what I've said, but I have to say what I believe anyhow. Stone me, or love me, I love God, and I love you. God bless you sister!
