Nick and Talitha decided to buy two fields in Usk, South Wales. The couple aimed to make a small holding for themselves. Nick has fond memories of living on a farm in his youth and living with animals, an experience he wants his daughter to have. With a newfound passion for faming, Nick turns to Monty Don for help on how to run a successful farm. Monty has over 40 years of farming experience under his belt and is ready to show Talitha and Nick the ropes and help them build a successful smallhold.

She’s a dreamer, we had cows, sheep, dogs and 40 acres of hay and it was nonstop work. Farming requires humbleness to accept help, to help your neighbor but she is what Monty said “a city person”. I hope they don’t spend any more of her parent’s money on her dream.

Perhaps some of these folks calling in Monty could watch some episodes of SHARK TANK or DRAGONS DEN on KZfaq. Many good ideas on what it takes to run a business from the investors. From the three episodes of this series that I have watched, it must be very frustrating for the host. Maybe it's DONE!
