When I first saw this game, my first thought was that the impossifications signify the relationship between architects and engineers.

Park Beyond's pathing system is fairly similar to Planet Coaster's. Although I think that right now there are even more issues with it. Funny thing is that even the original Roller Coaster Tycoon had pathing issues, although not nearly as bad as some of these much more recent games have.

Yeah, the AI in this game needs a bit more work. To be fair, I remember that PlanCo had similar issues when it first came out. Give Park Beyond some time and it might address most of the issues, but for now I'd say it's still in the late early access stage of development despite being in full release.

I really enjoy the game but it definitely needs some fixes. The audio starts crackling and people just start walking in circles.

not allowed specific people on specific rides, but u can go to the mechanics settings and have specific mechanics just do certain jobs

You can just add a specific mechanics that only works certain rides I have a video coming out soon as well on this game being making videos since release day not as good as Z1 but I think I'm ok love this video Z1 man this game is awesome

@@scottboogiegaming4547 the mechanic wont stay on that ride, no matter hoiw hard u try, his setting only allow him to repair, or maintaince he will do work on all rides no matter wat u try and do

I'm not sure this is the best time to be buying Park Beyond. It launched with a lot of near game breaking bugs, some of which require a reload to reset. Even without that, there's some questionable design decisions that I'm not sure what the devs were thinking of to do it that way. The biggest problem (IMO) is that you can't move your park employees around manually, so you have to rely on their AI to prioritize the jobs you need. And quite frankly, their AI isn't that good. Coaster design is another problem, because you're limited to one coaster per track. That makes sense for some coaster designs, but it makes longer tracks impractical. Which goes double for transport coasters, because you're still limited to one coaster but now you have multiple stations with queues locking guests in that could be spending their money on other things. This makes long transport rides with multiple stations a great way to make your park unprofitable. If you like to play campaign, then you have to deal with objectives and goals. Some of the objectives seem to be deliberately chosen to make your park a lot less efficient / profitable. You're frequently asked to place shops and rides in places where it will be difficult for your guests and staff to get to them. There's even an objective in one campaign to build a massive 6 station transport coaster, which will absolutely destroy your park's economy. The goals are needed to achieve the highest rating in campaign, and they're really no better. Some take ages to complete, like getting some staff members to 5 stars, which takes a lot of time because you can't just pay to train them. Others are just rough in general, like making a profit from toilets (a favorite goal, but it's hard to do because you have to pay upkeep costs on the toilets, and people won't pay much to use them). When you do satisfy a goal, you have to wait a while before another one becomes available. You need to to 4 of these to get top marks in campaign, and you'll usually be finished with the campaign objectives well before then. It's a design decision that shows no respect for the player's time. Park Beyond is a game with great potential, but right now it's very frustrating to play. I'd recommend putting it on your "wait and see" list, because hopefully the devs will be hard at work fixing the bugs and addressing the terrible gameplay issues. If they do that, this game should be on your insta-buy list if you're into this type of thing. But if they don't, then just call it fool's gold and walk away.
