This is so amazing. All my life I loved the Michael Masser tunes Starting Over Again, Miss You Like Crazy and the David Foster production Unforgettable as performed by Mrs. Cole. I am a cover artist myself and play a 1000+ songs but the three aforementioned are not in my nightly repertoire. However, for some reason I played and sang all three today at Kempinski, Frankfurt in the original keys. Happens to be that this wonderful singer, lady and sweet human being just passed away. Goes to show that music is a universal language that knows no borders of time, space or race!

I used to play this song when I was moving on from my 3-year-old relationship. It became my 5 AM routine right after hitting my alarm clock. Time flies fast, it's been 3 years as well since our relationship ended. Funny how I don't get to think of him for a long time, but when I suddenly do- the level of pain never changed. I should have known better. I was selfish for making him in love with me although I am completely aware that there's already someone occupying his heart. I took the chance because he wasn't getting the love he deserved. I just wanted to prove to him that looks and weight don't matter. And now, he's finally back with her. They're starting over again. Life's hard being an extra. But, I'm still glad I did. The regrets and what ifs from not trying at all are way harden than the regrets and what ifs from doing something. Either way, you still get hurt. The difference is that when you try, you'll know the results yourself.
