8:02 You can blow up the chests (although steel, iron and diamond tier locks won't blow up). There are also lock enchants ( complexity increases the level of lockpick you have to use for the lock and then there's another one that zaps you each time your lockpick breaks). These killed me so many times

Okay, so in the beginning of the episode, Calvin mentioned that he wanted Dragonsteel armor. I'm a bit of a weird person, and decided to read the entire RLCraft change log, and in it, I noted that Dragonsteel armor has been disabled by default. I hope this is helpful.

In the house at 19:30, there is a hidden enchant table. If you go into the tiny room to the right of the jukebox when u enter and dig down, you will find a basement. In the basement, go around the whole thing to a wall with a candle and a candle lever, and you can break the wall to enter a room with an enchanting table set up for level 30 and an enchanting table.

Fun fact: placing the cyclops eye in an item frame creates a weakness area without even needing to hold it (at least it used to be like that, not sure if it was patched or not)

Turtle is a good name. Also, for the base, you could make it an underground laboratory sort of place, lots of rooms for various purposes under the ground at various levels. Kind of like the vaults in Fallout.

You can use a Hopper to empty locked chests.

i dont recomend going for dragon steel, even if you have updated rlcraft to 2.9 because theres an ARMOR cap, just like a damage cap. the damage cap may have been changed a little, not 100% sure, but the armor cap is 100% real. dragons are also bugged in updated ice and fire with rlcraft if you didnt notice somehow in this episode (making this comment at the start lol)

Turtle chooses not to however because he doesn't care for destruction. Likes: cliffhangers and seeds. Cxlvxn: Our protagonist trying to level up and make something of himself in this world. Likes: birch planks (but not birch chests), food and not dying. Cyclops: is ded lol More lore in the next episode.

use trapdoors and chests, with flower pots, those desert stick plants and leaves on top of those pots to make flowers and bushes around the room, balanced on the trapdoors or "shelves"

the secret basement in the villager house thingy! its like a bar thing which is under a carpeted trapdoor in the middle of the room which i guess you could call a broom closet. cool area which is underground! love the videos they always make me smile!

I recommend levelling up agility, there are new skills that can be unlocked and they are really helpful! You can unlock a dodge ability, a wall jump ability and a ledge grabbing ability! I have them all on my world and they're almost a necessity for avoiding enemies and mobility in general

i really missed this seried so i started to rewatch it again. calvin has good sense of humor, he is sort of reminding me of technoblade (RIP). great content! keep it up :)
