Those are sturdy for sure if someone can stand on them. My kids want to plant flowers for mom, guess we'll have lots more flowers this year

They really are super sturdy! I'm hoping as the flimsier ones fall apart I can replace them with the Epic ones and then I'll be good to go for years and years

Oh my gosh!! I am addicted to zinnias!! They brought in so many monarch butterflies last year for me here in New York, but didn't realize untill I did some research that i needed milkweed for them to lay their eggs on. After they went across the yard to my dad's house because he had common milkweed weed naturally growing and the caterpillars formed a cocoon underneath his front porch that we watched everyday till the butterfly came out. So cool!! So now I am also making a butterfly garden this year. And my garden would not be a good one without marigolds that I've grow for years in with my tomatoes and other vegtables. They last right up until the frost kills them and look great in the fall next to my white pumpkins that i grow. Great video!

I also grow black velvet nasturtiums. If you’re really lucky, pay attention to the edges of the leaves as the very tips turn the same color as the flowers. I discovered it last year and for some reason the tiny little colored leaf tips utterly delighted me. :) Ps. The ‘really lucky’ comment is because it’s a recessive gene I think - it only happened on two of the plants from last year (I grew 6).

Which of those do the bees like most?

All of these types of flowers are on the top of the list for bees and butterflies as pollinators favorites. All of these bloom for a long period of time and provide with ample room for the pollinators to land and collect pollen and nectar. If you only have room for one, I'd pick from a variety of zinnia because of how many blooms they put off and how long they continue to bloom (for me, may until it freezes in the fall) and because I like the way they look

I just started some of the Ferry-Morse Ruby Eclipse seedlings. It says they will grow 5-6 inches on the packet and I think it was a typo. Can you tell me how yours turned out please? Thanks so much 🌻🌻 🌻
