Starting the BIGGEST PAVING PROJECT we have ever done !

Our crew does a large commercial asphalt pave. We pave half of the 180 ton main entrance in this video, the second half will come in another video where we pave the road. This is only step one of the commercial paving series, we also pave two large 450 ton parking lots. A total of 1080 ton of paving in this series.

I was thinking it was still to cold in Canada to pave but then you said Thanksgiving and I know that Canada's Thanksgiving and America's are not that far apart. Paving does not stop down here in the deep south where I live in America it does not get cold enough normally. Every now and then we get a few days of really cold like at Christmas it got in to the teens and that was the coldest I can remember in my short lifetime. Thanks for the video and I love to see the paving jobs you do and the machines at work.

What’s the max tonnage that little weiler can put out

Honestly I haven’t had an opportunity to push it in order to find out. When we get into bigger projects we normally use our Mauldin paver. The hopper is a 6 ton capacity. It’s a good little paver, but certainly isn’t the ultimate paving machine. It’s great for 500-1500 Sq Ft projects. The most I put out in a single day was about 90 ton with the Weiler. Truthfully if I did this job over again, I would have used the Mauldin for the entire project.

Thanks so much! I appreciate you taking the time to watch. I love them. I have 2 more 262’s coming in this summer. Both custom painted, I can’t wait for them to get here. I have been running skids steers for over 10 years, these ones are my favourite yet. Wasn’t a fan of the electric over hydraulic controls at first. I was used to hydraulic over hydraulic which I have used for years and in many ways I still do you prefer those controls. However, the overall machine performance is really great on the Next Gen’s.

Not at the moment, but we have 2 new 2023 Cat Next Gen skid steers coming in this summer. Just waiting on them to arrive.
