try new things it's so important. In the past year I've tried curling... fell on the ice in fount of everyone. Sliders really do slide. Roller blading... id try it again. Greek food... damn yummmm. Eighties Movies, listening to the Red hot chili peppers, going into an antique store, going up on stage, student council, field hockey, wearing a freaking dress. all of these I'm glad I took a chance on.

Even on a 4 day trip away I sometimes start to miss my home amenities, it's okay to homesick x ❤️

this is such a relatable video. I'm currently in Europe for 6 weeks as a graduation present to myself and I'm feeling so home sick (from Vancouver :)). I'm with a friend so it's not terrible, But I realized I just miss the comforts of my home and having the familiarity. I completely agree and get what you're feeling. thanks for helping me to feel understood and not ungrateful for the opportunity to travel :)

I would really like to start off by saying that I love watching your videos... you have a serious talent when it comes to video editing and filming. I also love watching your travel videos. That being said, as much as its awesome watching a female who is similar in age, travel the world and be so successful with youtube, and get the privilege staying at 4-5* resorts/hotels, I don't think you should knock hostels as much. For many young travellers its the best part. we are constantly meeting new people, and we have a roof (and often times a free breakfast), and generally free city activities, for very inexpensive. This allows nomads to travel longer and more cost effectively. Think, 1 week of Europe in a nice hotel, or 5 weeks travelling anywhere in Europe with a simple place to sleep and keep your belongings. Im sure you already know all of this, all i'm saying is your have a very big influence on your viewers; it's very fair to say it's not your cup of tea, but that seems to be because it's not what you're used to, maybe try to give them a fair review as if you were a light-load traveller that didn't have all the equipment. Those travellers aren't really bothered by only having a cubby with a lock, in fact, in most cases thats a real surprise! After all, we're only there to sleep between exploring, right?!

I love how you keep vlogging about the places you're going and doing sweet little bits interspersed where you're just showing the place and the buildings and the things around you to show how beautiful it all is, it works so well Starting to feel like I should add Sweden to my list of places to go

hey monica! do you never stay in airbnb's? we actually have stayed a lot in hostels although often we took a private room, almost as cheap and you have the privacy (also in the same one you stayed in in stockholm :) ) and we really like the atmospere, the social aspect and the fact that you can cook something yourself in most hostels (what makes travelling a lot cheaper too :) ) and really if you look around a bit you can find really cool hostels! but ... since we dicovered airbnb we only stay in a hostel if we are really late for booking and don't find anything cheap anymore. We made trips allover Europe the last years and almost always find a gorgeus place to stay with airbnb for really almost no money. Beautifull places to stay on top lacations in the city centers for (depending on the country) 35 to 70 euro per night (sometimes for 2 sometimes for 4 peoples). Just LOVE airbnb :) You should try it!
