During the destruction of the 2 Death Stars, Luke was kept on the downlow because if someone found out he was a Skywalker, AKA the son of the traitor that killed everyone in ROTS, there would be outrage. That said I'm not sure where Ahsoka is during this time because Rebels has a time jump from the start of OT to after the OT. She could know about him but there's nowhere in canon that says she does, we'll need more media from that time period.

He technically was in current continuity to my knowledge, but that being said the feats aren’t anything like the kind they were in legends. He was also Vader’s complete equal in ROTJ in force power and saber skill.

@@masterchale1173 True, Luke learned them later on, but the script for ROTJ and several sources from canon have stated that Luke was able to duel Vader on equal footing or as a total equal, Luke was a prodigy saber duelist that only had to watch a move and with a little practice could replicate it perfectly. He used Vader’s form of Djem So against him on the Death Star after observing his fight on Cloud City. So while he didn’t know all the forms, he knew enough, especially of Vader’s style to equal him for their duel.

You have to remember, Jedi can "sense" the Force. She seems hostile but only because she can sense evil intent in others. The same is true for Luke. If she met him, she'd want to know why his energy feels so much like her former Master's.

He had them both beat when he had them both 30+ feet in the air within the first moments, he only lets them go so he can humiliate maul who wants to challenge the Emperor’s rule. You can see in the fight that he’s barely even trying, and only lets out a breath of fatigue after killing Savage.

I preferred the way George portrayed things in the OT, that some people get so powerful and wise that they don't even need a weapon anymore.

@@hazzby3589 In legends yes you’re right, although Vader was more powerful than Anakin but could never be what he was supposed to be, but in current canon especially the comics, force potential isn’t lost with midichloreans (I probably butchered that spelling) Vader never lost any of his potential and actually became stronger right after that fight because of his rage at the loss and his situation, when he’s focused and not conflicted his power is comparable and in some cases higher than Palpatine. Where his weakness comes from is conflicting emotions, they mess up his headspace and connection to the dark side. Several canon sources have stated that Luke was Vader’s true equal in ROTJ and both were conflicted in the battle on the Death Star.

All you need is TWO lightsabers, crossed in an X. Then you can defeat the Emperor.

Luke's my favorite but I agree with this. She is the more refined and had more training. But both do have the Force, Luke has been a Knight for 5 years (2 years more than when Anakin took out Dooku), so with the Force that would improve his agility, reflexes and any telekinesis which Jedi utilize in combat, and he'd have the edge. But it'd be one amazing fight, and I do think Ahsoka could teach Luke a lot about the Force he couldn't know...because of the whole Jedi being extinct thing.

It isn't like Luke is directly created from that son of the force. Now, if you really believe ahsoka can do anymore than survive in a duel against vader, than you're wrong, even with the survive part because she would have died had she not been saved during what can be argued to be a 3v1 in terms of distractions. Stop being blinded. Respectfully though, she is a great character in star wars with tremendous skill, just not enough to seriously rival top tier sith and jedi. If I'm having surgery, let me have the doctor that has 20-something years of experience. Luke had 5 minutes of training with with Obi-Wan Kenobi; Ahsoka fought alongside the man on a daily basis. Luke met Anakin 2 times, but Ahsoka knew that man intimately and learned a lot from him, even the things you can't learn from a book or from 5-minutes of association. A man who learned the ways of the Force during a time of relative peace isn't going to best a war veteran. That's not happening. Anakin and Ahsoka have been I'm countless duels against countless people in countless situations, and has the influence with them from the many Jedi they fought alongside. Luke got 5 minutes of training from a Force ghost, a slap on the back and a firm handshake and he called himself a Jedi Knight. If you that is any comparison at all, you're crazy. By the way, Ahsoka did come close to being knighted. The ONLY thing that held her back was her own refusal when it was offered to her on her last day there. That girl is good! Real good!
