Today Howzer was like Fives. His speech was very similar when Fives and Jesse were arrested on Umbara.

Seeing Howzer go against the empire, and some of his brothers join him, was honestly one of the best moments of the series. Republic or Empire, I honestly believe that the clones had it the worst. The Republic gave them no choice but to fight a war and the empire took their free will away.

Its honestly so amazing that just after two episodes, Howzer seems to be at Rex status for favorite clone, im hoping to god he and his followers don't die.

I feel like they're building up to the series finale now, and the show is getting a bit more tense

When I saw the clones throw their weapons down all I could say was “Yes, yes, yes!”.

The scene with some of clones joining Howzer was a surprise to be sure but a very welcome one

Howzer earned my respect, he stood for the only thing that matters.. Family.

Crosshair looks like he’s expressing emotion again and not just the pure malice of order 66, which is promising

I interpreted Hunter looking back at Howzer as he also thinks deep down Crosshair can be redeemed, just how Howzer believes in his brothers.

i think it’s really interesting how other clones started to follow howzer… maybe they don’t need to be defective for the chip to not work

Imagine Howzer's teal markings on the Bad Batch's black armor. That would look awesome.

You can see Crosshair's conflict within him also during Howzer's speech in the end. He tilts his head a little, indicating that he is thinking about it exactly like Jesse did in the last episode of the clone wars. This may be incorrect but I got that feeling atleast. Love this show!

The way howzer tried to rally the clones really gave me clone wars vibs, my favorite episode yet

I think Jesse didn’t reason with Rex because Ahsoka, a former jedi, was with him

as I said from the beginning, the BAD BATCH is about the Empire finding out that all clones are the Bad Batch because they have a high risk of turning against the Empire itself. The clones are the bad batch! the inhib chips will fail sooner or later.

I have a feeling the inhibitor chips are wearing out for most clones, which could lead to a massive clone rebellion. Perhaps this is one of the reasons why the Empire decides to switch to stormtroopers.

Why do I have the feeling that Crosshair might be the one to kill Rampart some time down the line... I mean we don't see Rampart during Imperial times so there's a chance he never made it that far

Howzer looks so badass. I genuinely thought no one would be able to listen to his voice of reason and just decide to go full on firing squad on him. Honestly would've been brutal if that did happen

I hope we get a Captain Rex show where he saves Howzer and his men, along with other clones. Maybe he leads the clone uprising.

My idea is that Order 66 was temporary, leading to the Clones not following Imperial Orders. Eventually, that would lead to the Stormtrooper Program

I hope we'll see 501st legion in the Bad Batch and why it was called later "Vader's fist"

I don't think Hunter turning to look at Howser was to do with wanting him to join the Bad Batch. Seeing Howser stay behind, at his own risk, to try and talk sense to his men, rather than abandoning them, parallels Hunter's guilt for 'abandoning' Crosshair on Kamino (not that they had a choice, as they had to protect Omega). I think he'll express that remorse when Crosshair confronts them.

It's kinda weird people didn't like the last ep because it literally gave us what we wanted, to not just FOCUS on the bad batch dodging the empire and show how the entire galaxy reacts to it. I get not everyone likes rebels, and I understand that but people stop being hypocrites comparing this show to the clone wars since most of the arcs in the clone wars were basically just like that last ep was.

Watching this episode I was worried Crosshair was gonna execute Howzer on the spot

I think Hunter debated telling Howzer about the chips when he looked back, but there was no time to explain; that's kind of how it went from my perspective :)

This sets up the classic Filoni-4-episode story arc to end the season in which I think The Batch will get Crosshair back on their team. I think we'll also see Hera's mother die in the last episode.

I like how Filoni is giving Hera a real Leia vibe, truly awesome

I personally don’t think Crosshair’s chip was burnt out. Because you gotta think about it scientifically a little bit. The chip is implanted in the brain, probably kinda deep in the brain too, so there’s at least 2 inches of flesh and bone between the outside of the head and the brain, so that somewhat superficial burn wound he’s got isn’t deep enough to have fried the chip in my opinion.

I was so worried that Crosshair was going to shoot Howzer when he stood up against the empire.

I believe what finally triggered Wrecker’s chip was when Hunter was speaking to Rex about when they saw clones turning on a Jedi. It zoomed in on Wrecker’s ear when Hunter said “thankfully the padawan got away” Wrecker immediately grabbed Tech then said something along the lines of them committing treason and being in violation of Order 66.

I really hope we get to see Kamino Uprising in this show

When Hunter looked back at Captain "not brain washed" I thought he was looking at hope for Crossaire. I hope Crossaire gets his chip removed or destroyed and joins his brothers again. He was my favorite going into the show

I hope they convince Crosshairs to come back by removing his inhibitor chip

Next episode is called “infested”. I can only assume this is the spark of the clone rebellion….as the episode right after that is called “War Mantle” (which is the initiative for conscripted soldiers)

Did you notice the ending scene with crosshair after Howzer's speech , he seems to be in deep thought, maybe he is analyzing howzer's words but he doesn't feel malice or intimidation more confused if anything

The thing about Jesse was that he was present during the Pong Krell arc so he's had a bad history with Jedi betraying the Republic which is why it seemed to work for a moment before raising his weapons once again. I'm sure if he wasn't there, he'd probably resist Order 66 long enough for them to escape.

This was by was my favorite episode, because we now know that the Clones are still human, and there is hope for them.

Not sure how Howzer became one of my absolute faves in just a single episode.... but it happened. So glad to see him being an absolute boss in this episode.

Wasn't the entire bad batch near Kanan when they heard the order? It just took a while for it to effect Wrecker. The Howzer not being around any jedi theory is the one I go with!

Howzer feels like an old character, yet being actually new.

I think that Hunter was looking at Howzer because of what he said, “There still good men.” Which made Hunter, in the moment, think about Crosshair and possibly being able to save him.

I think it may be the chip is old. Howzer looks like he's been through it. Maybe one of the first clones? Rex showed you can break free for a bit... Maybe the chips are like most US military tech. Highest price point lowest quality?

I kind of want them to save Boba's first appearance for the Kamino uprising. I wonder if another Imperial like Tarken or possibly Vader may show up on Ryloth since it is clear that a civil war is about to start and Rampart has shown to be unable to handle the conquest alone.

Crosshair looked like he was having second thoughts towards the end of the episode. You could tell in his eyes

When Howzer spoke up and got to some of his brothers, it reminded me of when Fives spoke up to Dogma and his brothers when they were about to execute Jesse, (rip Hardcase) and him because of their heroic actions from destroying the supply ship on umbara but then they purposely missed because they realized what they were about to do was wrong

Captain howzer is quite similar to commander grey even with the chips still embedded into their brains they eventually came to their senses they are true heroes

I think that Crosshair did in fact kill Taa, but they are saying he is "recovering" to the public so they do not lose order on the planet. I guess we won't know forsure until later

I really like Captain Howzer. He is self conscious and thinks for himself, not just what the empire wants, he seems to be the most resilient against the inhibitor chip out of any regular trooper, he is heroic and cares about his squad. He kind of reminds me of Rex. Also, he has like the coolest hair style of any Clone Trooper. Give me more captain howzer.

Crosshairs was thinking about something at the end of the episode. Can target exactly what though. It was almost like he was rethinking what he said.

A clone rebellion is now inevitable. If a bunch of regs are questioning about what the Empire is doing, across the galaxy other clones must be too. No doubt the Empire is going to have to shut down Kamino; whether the Kaminoians want to or not. The chips themselves must be wearing off at this point. With Order 66 all but complete and the Inquisitors being established to hunt down any survivors, the clones are seemingly becoming more and more aware. It may be too that some of the first few batches of clones may be resisting and fighting back like how Rex did and how Jesse tried to, so maybe that's a factor. Four episodes left now and it seems the final showdown between the Bad Batch and Crosshair is going to happen. What's going to happen isn't sure, but we're entering the endgame now.

RIP to all the brave clones who died fighting for what they believed was right. Fives and Jesse live on in our hearts

Howzer is such a good character, I really hope that they bring him back and soon, quickly became one of my favorite clones just because of how original what he is doing is.

Howzer being able to get through to his brothers gave me a sort of vibe from when fives gave his speech how him and his brothers aren't unthinking droids, they're men and they need to make their own decisions. I had a couple tears when it happened not gonna lie lmao

I like the way the show revealed that Tech is the reason Hera knows how to scramble the Ghost's signature. Good stuff!

If Omega and Hera ever get their chances to see each other at some point in the future before Rebels, it's possible that these two girls could potentially become one of the earliest female leading members of the Rebellion if Omega ever does joined.

Imagine Boba shows up out of nowhere wearing armor that looks like the 1313 armor, considering it’s this early it’s possible and that would be pretty damn awesome!

I think its possible that howzer and the clones that stood with him never got the order. Maybe they were together when it happened but the comms were jammed or something. I dont think its gonna be that easy to convince them. Or its as you say that the chip is wearing off and thats a reason why they stopped making clones

My guess is the clones who got arrested end up back on Kamino and treated as "defective", at which point they have the opportunity to incite even more clones and form an uprising, perhaps even with the support of Nala Se.

The moment crosshair asked to hunt them may not be his true intention, because after that he is not showing any anger, instead he is confused on what he will really do. And some of this thanks to howzer speech I believe
