😅Im seeing alot of people complaining of how the sister is treating him, clearly you all not looking at the same film... the kid is disrespectful and no ones talking about that.. thats the problem with society now.. parents, sister or even adults have no rights to correct the kid, but is ok for them to act anyhow... im a nanny and deal with kids from Monday to Friday, and the way i see these kids behave its crazy .... they literally be shouting back at their parents and the parents in turn always making excuses for them saying either they are tired or hungry.... Smh!

There is no balance in relationship anymore. Who can be more sympathetic and worried about their own children parents or some paid social worker? Yes there is child abuse in society now but except for only a few western countries majority of parents all over raise their children normally, well behaved who look take care of their parents respectfully till the end.

Not at all. The continuation of what has transpired in this film has been already been filmed hundreds of times over with many variations. A 'part 2' would just be yet another murder/horror film and is already quite predictable. The main point has been resolved. Nick was shown to be telling the truth. What more do you want. But what we have here is a very good story with a great ending. It's more than enough, let's not spoil it by going down the track of what was no more than a bit of spiciness to spin the real story around.

Bad writing. Bad, bad. The story is intriguing so I'm still watching - but wow.. she's making it such an effort.

I think this would have made a better short series than it did a movie. Maybe it was a pilot that didnt get picked up. Ending so abrupt but any resolutions to the mysteries were so superficially resolved, leaving the deeper questions posed at the start of the film unanswered.

When a murder is reported I EXPECT the response to be careful and a deep investigation into every aspect without any disbelief of the statements made until proven unfounded. At the point a police decides ahead of any investigation to discredit the witness I feel like responding in an unacceptable manner in reply. The plot then takes us along where the child upsets the woman in a shop and she behaves like a troubled woman instead of a cop. She must have forensic photography dept the film can be developed at. As usual anything controversial in any way disappears at the development lab. AND then it occurred to me. Instead of tolerating the behaviour anticipated of Nick he became the victim and I liked the character. Very clever. Suddenly the story comes together a writers symphony , a brilliant movie that really highlights the artistry of writer, director, and cast. The unexpected ending keeps the viewer on their toes. Keeping the whole script in mind as one reassesses the entire presumption of personalities in the movie. Just when you know everything, it all falls apart!

Esta película trata sobre la soledad y el aislamiento a que están sometidas muchas personas en la sociedad sin poder comunicarse y sin ser detectadas por el entorno. Lo detectivesco es secundario en esta trama, no siendo el centro del problema de los personajes. Vale la pena verla e ir desmenuzando las actitudes de cada uno!!! Saludos desde Montevideo Uruguay

This woman is so cold narcissistic and should not be a policewoman. OMG the people are in such trouble. It makes no sense whatsoever that she would think that this wasn’t true. It’s ridiculous!! Can’t watch anymore. This is a young boy recently bereaved in a hostile environment with an emotionally stunted half sister. It’s triggered me!! 🤮🤮🤮🤮

This is an excellent movie. It's sad that the actors speak English. In Andorra we speak Catalan or Spanish and Portuguese, sometimes even French - but never English.

It does conclude! It is a brilliant conclusion. A writer who actually knows WHERE to stop for the maximum value. A trick most in Hollywood etc don't seem to have got a handle on. There was nothing left worth saying.The rest of this story would be predictable & boring, The viewer already knows the gist of the rest of the story. It is best left to our imaginations to fill in the details.

I'm just at the beginning, but where is this place and why is there a Brit, Spaniard and an American/Canadian cop and why is she such a bitch to this kid? Bizarre and unfulfilling ending... however the suspense was well done except for the weird online dating situation, who in the world on the first date would not go to a public place or get into a strangers car? So from the credits I see it's a Spanish film... seems they need to work on their story line better.

@@Kimdino1 Don't you jump to too many conclusions either. I speak 3 languages and have lived in 5 different countries in my lifetime and within those countries had friends of many cultures from outside of those countries as well, from Europe, Romania, Nigeria, India to Mexico.. I have no multicultural issues at all and in fact love all of our differences and our fundamental similarities. The film made for no cohesion, sense of place and thus a fairly illogical story line. Just my humble opinion as far as the quality of this film... take it or leave it.

@@lagringa7518 So you know that Andorra is a very small country in the Pyrenees between France & Spain? It has negligible film industry and thus probably is unable to provide more than a small budget to making this film, with very few native professional film actors. And not enough for the most skilled international stars. So they slip up on the accents, what does a Catalan accent sound like anyway? I was happy to let this be. Surely it is better to have the dialogue clearly presented than have it delivered in a mumbled attempt at a dialect that few of us have even heard of. But it was very well written and directed with perfectly adequate, if not great, acting. It is made clear that crime is negligible. When the major issues are stolen newspapers & lost dogs, why should anyone think that strangers mean you great harm. What is wrong with trusting them as you are getting to know them. Why not go off alone with them. They have had no reason to develop the paranoia that many of us have become used to living with. And why should the main character not be a bitch to the kid? She doesn't want him, he has a record of trouble and he is upsetting the established flow of her life. It may be wrong, but it is an established fact that people have such reactions in the real world. It also provides a good opening for a common theme of the film - in how badly we deal with those around us. This is reinforced by the social isolation & loneliness of various characters. It had a sense of place to me. Maybe because it is a place of a type few are familiar with, and so cannot relate to? A small nation few have heard of in a harsh remote location, something rarely seen in the media. I saw plenty of cohesion, but then I have a mind that is good at reaching into unfamiliar 'places' and understanding how and why the human psyche would develop in that situation. It was all very logical to me. Just my thoughts. It all made sense to me. And when I realised that the murder was just the spicing on the offering of a view into a different, but very real, world with interesting character presentations. - then it became great viewing. Especially given the probable constraints which its makers laboured under. Etc, etc, etc......... I am also aware that many of us have become too used to 'Big Mac' style films. Films served up like fast food, films that follow a well tested formula and take no effort to digest. This certainly isn't one of those and I can understand that it may be hard to digest for many. I, personally, though it very good

@@Kimdino1 Well I see that you are passionate about this film and the area. Yes I know of Andorra tho I've never been there, so am not familiar with it's atmosphere, but the little mountain town seemed quite similar to many of those in the Alps and pre-Alps... where in the winter are usually quite insular and populated with the 'locals' as opposed to during the summer months when everyone eventually goes back to their respective cities and jobs once it starts getting cold and schools start. I'm actually quite fond of independent, low budget films and have had some wonderful surprises. Which is probably why I clicked on this film in the first place. But I personally thought that all those different accents with no rhyme, reason or explanation were distracting from a sense of place and for me jarred the logic from the beginning and personally would have used locals, there were hardly any long dialogs anyway. To me the film was a jumble and so I'm afraid I can't agree that it was 'good', I had pointed out some of it's positives, but the negatives were too distracting in the logical flow and direction that a film should have. So sorry... I'm afraid we'll have to agree to disagree on this one. ✌🏼🕊

_Spoilers._ Strange but oddly intriguing movie shot in frozen, picturesque Andorra (after researching) which appears to be occupied by more _senior_ Brits and Anericans, than Andorrians. A hateful lady American cop who has to take charge of a miscreant srep-brother whom she prejudges and treats like a potential jailbird rather than a blood relative, seemingly because he has a very poor school report and was expelled for minor crimes. He doesn't seem to need education and hangs around the liminal Town taking photos (also a hobby of his father.) He witnesses a double murder, of course, takes photographs, which, go missing along with the negatives puzzlingly ignored, to prove the murderous events he witnessed. She makes people believe he's a liar/imaginative so nothing really is done and he takes it upon himself to do some investigating using his camera to take photographs of potential suspects. Befriended by Amber (a Liz Hurley lokkalike) the Town Psychiatrist/Dating Agent/Horse owner who just happens to date the muderer on the evening he finds him. He races to the police station to alert his step sister, who still in disbelief begrudgingly hunched, goes after him when they discover an hotel where they may be headed....

Soy español y estoy confundido, porque el inglés no es mi idioma. Veo que hay "Sheriff", muy americano. Luego leo "policía" en español. Y además creo escuchar diferentes acentos. Margaret was an awful police officer. Nick gave her so many details and she stopped the other officer on the mountain from investigating because she Would not believe Nick. I must say it was incredibly frustrating; she was a very oppiniated character but the new camera was for Nick was kind. Good movie but annoying stupidity. Xxx ❤❤ Thank you for uploading.

That's what I was wondering about too. The story plays in a land like US or Canada, but the inscription is "policia" and not "police".
