The gain is too high on the recording so it's clipping. Too bad cuz they're a good ensemble and it's a good arrangement.

Very nice talent for sure! Good arrangement, and beautifully performed with a tantalizing bite to the tone from each player. But oh god, the audio... it's overly compressed, robbing the performance of its dynamics. Each time the players build a rich crescendo, it culminates with a lackluster thumping and throbbing rather than the clear power of the group.
