For much of Friday, emergency officials kept their eye on Wahiawa dam as the level in the Wilson Reservoir rose to levels not seen in years.

Yes. Privatize profits and socialize losses. Dam was built by private sector. Private sector made lots of money. Private sector can fix it.

Have the US Army repair the Ku Tree Reservoir damn in upper Wahiawa on Area X. Problem solved.

Hardly any water that flow there anyway. There’s no need to repair.

@@gen_aloha That reservoir was full when I was younger. We would fish up there all the time. Get plenty water. Just repair the damn.

All of hawaii streams and rivers need maintenance and that goes to all parts of the island including roads and sidewalks

I don't like how they made so many culvarts in Hawaii that empty straight into the ocean without filtering water through the land. All that red unfiltered dirt straight into the ocean. I heard stories from old timers back in the day Maalaea harbor used to be crystal clear water.
