The worst part is that he probably thinks it's all for a good cause. The difference between war criminals and leaders of the US is that the latter sleep well at night. I heard a Brit who studied in the US and in the USSR say the most propagandistic school he went to was in the US. He said that as a middle schooler, the whole devotion go the flag and the anthem "creeped him out".
