I am a 60 year old woman who has watching GH all of my life. It's to the day a piece of me. Family members have sent me birthday cards from Sonny 😂. So when I read that Tyler had died I sobbed. Genuinely sobbed. It's devastating what is happening with our mental health. Rest In Peace Tyler. Thank you for sharing Maurice

I give Maurice a lot of credit for doing this show. He has had some of the best conversations on mental health that I have seen with people. This was a very good interview and a great tribute to Tyler Christopher may he rest in peace.

So much of this interview had some foreshadowing but what broke me was when Tyler was talking about having passed away previously, as he was lying on the bench homeless he said he knew what it felt like to pass away and he knew it was close again. And then his friend pulled up. I can't help but wonder if on Oct 31 he felt it coming again. It's so sad. My heart breaks for his family. Rest in Paradise Tyler. ❤

As someone that suffered with depression, anxiety and alcoholism I feel so bad for him and his loved ones. I am blessed I came back to the Lord and my life is so much better.

I was so excited to hear that Tyler Christopher was returning to General Hospital. Tyler was the one who could play the part of Nicklaus. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I have watched General Hospital for years. I always thought that no one could play that part the way he did. He will be missed!

I'm so glad that he did the interview. It was so insightful to hear him speak from the prospective an an alcoholic. I could tell in the interview that he was still struggling but that made it even more authentic. Alcholism is a terrible monster and getting out of its grip is almost impossible. I am so grateful to be sober today. It took a long time but through Gods help I made it. My heart goes out to all those who suffer and have lost loved ones . RIP Tyler

I have cried multiple times over Tyler's passing. I never met him but would have loved the opportunity. To me, he really was the one and only Nikolas Cassadine. About a week and a half before he died I kept thinking about Tyler and I rewatched his interview. He was really on my mind. Then a friend of mine called me and said another actor on GH had passed away and it was Tyler. 😢So sorry he passed away so young and so sorry for all the many problems he had due to alcohol addiction. Met Tyler once in Chicago in 2016, I've been acquaintances with one of the writers who was at GH in the 90s. Thank you, thank you, thank you for your very frank and open discussion. I have so much respect for you and for the people we see in front of our screens and behind the scenes every day. My heart goes out to Tylers friends and family. My life started with trauma and it still follows me after all of these years, so I so much appreciate what you are doing.

He was probably one of my favorites. Breaks my heart.

I've watched this interview several times previously but I'm watching it again in honor of his memory, even though I'm already in tears from your intro. I'm still in shock that he's gone, it's so difficult to wrap my head around it. I never gave up hope that one day he'd eventually be back on GH because he's been so missed! He was and always will be Nicholas to me, a brilliant talent who was taken from us way too soon. He would of turned 51 this week. Tyler was a great actor on General Hospital! I saw him as the only Nicholas Cassadine on there.... no one could take his place! He captivated me when he first started on there in the 90s. I wish he could of come back to play that role on there. It shocked me a few days ago when i saw that he passed away, I cried . But i hope that he is in a better place now and he is at peace, too. I know he must have been a great dad to his children and im sure they miss him terribly, too. I lost my mom at a young age as well so i feel for his children right now going through this. So grateful I got a chance to spend the wknd with him in NY before he passed away. I asked Ty was he still wrkn on his book, he said no. He said when he got to the year 2006, he stopped. Ty told me everything and then some about his book. It was such an honor. He said, "Tamika, I just told you my life story, if you don't know me by now, I don't know what to say". I have the best memories of him. He befriended me 2 yrs ago on Christmas eve, from there, a beautiful friendship blossomed. I miss you so much, Ty😢❤

Maurice, I’ve never told anyone this but, the last time I saw my dad, I somehow knew. I just had a feeling. I sure wish I would have done more. 😭 My dad died in his sleep that night. One of the hardest days of my life. The other hardest was when my mom passed. Life is hard.

Thank you Maurice. I suffer from Bipolar and Major Depressive Disorder. When Billy surrendered his life life. I was like how at 53 am I still here? Now with Tyler's. I'm just sad. I was hoping he'd come back Nicholas like everyone else. His fight is over and may he finally rest in peace.

Thank you for sharing this again. My bf of 5 yrs passed away in April from what they call an accidental overdose. He struggled with bipolar and severe anxiety. The truth is that the care given to those suffering is terrible. The counseling center that he went to failed him. Our court system failed him. More awareness needs to be raised and we need to do more in this country to help people. Everyone should watch this. I will continue to share it. My deepest sympathy to you, his family and his friends.
