It was a smaller venue with a capacity of 3000 and it was wild! Su, Moa, and Momoko were absolutely on point... along with the Western Kami Band who were complete fire. I like the progressive metal elements and that heavy nasty breakdown. There's also a reference to Macbeth in the lyrics besides the obvious lines famously known by Snow White tale. Welcome back. This isn't the first time they've included some Prog Metal - 'Tales of the Destinies' was on the second album as long ago as 2016. It is the first time Su has channelled Snow White's step mother and that Moa has quoted Shakespeare's witches from Macbeth. Yes Momometal (former Avenger Momoko Okazaki - she has been supporting them since 2019) was revealed as the new third member at the shows at PIA Yokohama (where this video was filmed) on 1st and 2nd April this year. They completed the successful tour of Europe as special guests of Sabaton and they were great, now they are headlining in SE Asia and moving on to Australia and they are killing it every time ... but as one of the absolute best live acts on the planet right now I guess that is to be expected (and they put in all the hard work to make sure it stays that way). If you didn't get tickets for when they are back in the US from the end of August through to October you could miss out again like you did in 2019 - I hope you learned from your mistake back then.😉

Glad you're back in circulation. This is a killer song. And yeah the singer on the left is Momoametal and after a long difficult search she is the new member of Babymetal. Replacing the wonderful Yuimetal. Watching one of their newer videos here I do have to chuckle. I'm remembering your old channel in your early BM days. The discussion came up as to wether BM would age out or manage to keep going-I'm paraphrasing here, but you get the gist. I think BM is evolving but they're looking really great from where I'm sitting.

👍 👍 At their concert in Yokohama on April 1 it was announced that a permanent third member Momoko Okazaki (who is also a graduate of Sakura Gakuin and has been appearing with them LIVE since 2019) has officially become the third member. Their new album in my opinion that released March 24 is amazing with so many different styles. Good luck and hope to see you again.
