Rumkicks is from Korea and have toured the UK already in their short career. They have also recently replaced their bassist as Dorothy moved on to something else. They are a fun band to listen to.

BTW, the guys aren't park of Rumkicks. They are a band called Pogo Attack, and it seems both bands filmed videos on the same day, being in each other's video. Oddly the Rumkicks drummer doesn't appear in this one, but is in the Pogo Attack video. Everyone seems to know each other in the Korean punk scene. I think their best song is "Goodbye Song" and of the two studio recorded videos for it on their channel, I prefer this version kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gryXmryp2syooKc.html (ignore the title, this definitely is Goodbye Song). Back then the old bass player was the singer, but I prefer the vocals of Yeawon, who sings now. They've just finished a six date tour of Indonesia, which seemed to be marred by an incident at their third gig, where a member of a local hardcore band seemed to object to 'pretty women' playing punk, and threw a (plastic glass) pint of beer at Yeawon's face from close range. The guy that did it had pulled up his hoodie and put on a facemask so he wouldn't be recognised. Unfortunately for him, he was easily identified from earlier footage filmed at the gig. Not only was he outed in replies to a tweet put out by Rumkicks' UK tour manager, that tweet went viral in Indonesia and has now been seen by well in excess of one million people, and he had to issue a grovelling apology. The played in the UK last year, finished at the Rebellion Festival, on the 'Introducing Stage', for new bands. They went down really well, and there are whispers that they may even get to play the main stage on their return this year. Not bad for a band that doesn't even have a record deal, just some releases on Bandcamp.
