Stay Alive, is the second single from the forthcoming album Project Regeneration Volume 2 and features vocals by Wayne Static. Project Regeneration Vol 2 is a collection of 13 brand-new Static-X songs which contain the final vocal performances & musical compositions of founding vocalist Wayne Static, along with the original Wisconsin Death Trip lineup featuring Tony Campos (bass), Koichi Fukuda (guitars) and Ken Jay (drums). The new album was produced by the band’s current vocalist/guitarist Xer0 and mixed/mastered by long-time collaborator Ulrich Wild and is the 2nd installment of the 2-part release. Yeah, I was skeptical of the first Project Regeneration as as shameless cheap money grab but they really have done it right. It takes years to get over someone you care about like that regardless if it's friend or family so it's been cool to see where they've brought Static-X so far.

I was struggling with substance abuse, hard. Very, very rough 9 years of heroin addiction, fentanyl, xylazine cut into it, about every other drug you can name. but I am clean for 9 months today and …we can get thru this together. Good energy towards anyone dealing with an affliction, addiction, pain, and (or) suffering. I love you.

I’ve talked to Tony several times about Wayne’s last show that he played here in Fargo 3 months or so before he passed. It would be nice, but I think it also revolves around Dope and Devil Driver also at this point…

@@dustencross357 bro, my I’ve seen my top three bands play multiple times. I don’t need to road trip to see them either, because all three came to Fargo. Of those three includes Static X who came here to Fargo 6 times and during his solo tour, Wayne Static played at the now defunct Garage Bar, (his solo Wisconsin death trio tour) where I had the distinct honor of meeting the man, and Tera not even a few months before they died, and got to be on the stage with them because I was invited, by Wayne, to join them on stage and evil disco my heart away. So, why would I need to road trip to see Static-X? Static-X can come to Fargo. Wayne even told me he loved playing in Fargo because he loved the culture here.

Have you gotten to see them live recently? It's absolutely insane how they capture his essence. The mannerisms are identical, and the voice is damn near the same, too. I highly highly recommend getting out to a show if you haven't.

I wish I had gotten a chance to meet Wayne been a fan of Static-X since I was five. One of the first times I saw a Static-X song was for Batman Beyond. He came out looking like Batman with his hair in points to make the ears. It is still one of the coolest things I’ve ever seen.

Wayne was a mixed bag can’t tell you how many times I saw them, more then 10 probably less then 30 times. Was in the green room a lot during a certain period specifically and Wayne ran hot and cold. Honestly of core members I hung out w/ Tripp the most until his two arrests. And Wayne was forever bitter and pissed to some extent after. It’s also when I some him start drinking and what not. He used to have a really cool gf for a long time from 90s- I can’t remember but when the porn star showed up I didn’t like her and thought that it probably want good. Oh well there.

I just recently discovered Static X, and the songs became my athems for each day. Put my earbuds in and got shit done. His voice helped me to step back from life's Bullshit of the Moment and just FN Rock my soul out! Since I had just discovered Static X, I did not know about the tragic fate of Wayne or his wife. I just now found out here....now. I'm broken....no words can express the depth of my sadness. I will choose to believe that God wanted him back so he could rock out too. May you be at peace. Static X has such respect for their fans.. Their sound is unmatched bringing the electronic elements with the metal elements.. I will be 40 this year. And in my teens Wisconsin Death Trip got a lot of play from me and all my friends. We lost a musician that set the tone for his different style vocals that no one was doing back im those days.. And of course his image was different.. Wayne was Wayne his know individual.. RIP Wayne.. You are missed and forever will be..💀🤘

Glad they are bringing awareness to such a devastating problem.❤❤ ❤❤ 20yeara clean now and wife,4 kids and now making 100k a year. Miracle for a high school drop out,ADHD,depression, anxiety,addict,alcoholic,nearly died from illness 3years ago. If I can overcome and turn my pain and suffering to grow strong,confident, successful. Then anyone can. Evil Disco for life!

video was directed by Static-X producer/creative director/longtime friend Edsel Dope and co-directed by Matt Zane. Outtakes from the Wayne Static “Assassins of Youth” video - originally directed by Matt Zane - were added to help fully portray Wayne’s disturbing vision for the song. According to the bands former sound engineer Eddie Ortel: “Wayne was working on this track the night that he passed away.”

I really miss Wayne Static and to this day I have a hard time believing he is gone. Keeping his memory alive is the coolest thing in the world. Sitting here after first watch with tears saturating me - Been clean for 20 months after 25 hard dark years while 34 dear friends OD'ed or succumbed to infection from dirty hits. Hail our lost brethren , he ,she and they ! They and Wayne still hold pride of place in my heart 🖤 as flames that burnt higher and brighter finally flying free of this mundane nihilistic purgatory we call living . Please STAY.

I love it! With each new song it's like Wayne's not really gone, and his and the band's one of a kind sound can live on for us fans! I think I speak for us all when I say, keep it going guys we literally can't get enough!!!
