Whew it's been a while 😅 but I'm back now!! Felt super rusty starting this video but I think I'm back into it again 👍
Thank you everyone who's been messaging me in the interim, your support and requests for more videos was very motivating and honestly it was really sweet to hear some of you had missed my vids 🥺
I mention in the video that I struggled put the lid of the pens on the other end whilst trying to use them and I just wanted to add that I don't see this as a fault as it doesn't affect the function of the pens.

SAME!! I used to really only mess with earthy or desaturated colours, but something changed and I really love bright bright colours now 😘✌

Glad to see you’re back and well rested. Loved the page. It’s so relaxing to see you color, I think this format of video editing really works for watching you color. Thumbs up. Dolly sounds like a really interesting character. Especially since it seems she becomes a scary monster when she grows up, but the boys don’t see it and keep putting her in cute frilly little outfits. Lol. My attention span usually is that of a fly with videos like this, but this was super engaging to me. I LOVE the designs of your characters. I never thought I'd like the circus vibe, but the colors and their designs are so cute and I like it a lot. Great work!

Maybe a silly question, I have an old inky illustration style, and ive been wanting to incorporate more color. I love the vibrancy of your art and the colors you have on hand If I were to use these markers could I write over it? Would it come out muddy? Is the texture....obstructive? I don't know how to say it.

The texture these pens leave behind is, for the most part, smooth. And I believe most ink pens should work well over them, I've used some coloured fineliners to line some pictures with these pens and theyve worked really well together, they all dry perfectly with so far no smudging. I hope this answers your question 😁😁

i like this idea of the circus and the card you made to look like a poster turned out great! you could do a ticket to the circus on the other side. there is a community of artist trading cards that would love this too!

You know what you could do? It might give a super relaxing vibe if you talk a just a little, then stop and turn the music up slightly, then talk, and so on, throughout the video. I'm thinking that could be a really good way to sort of space out the talking, so you don't feel like you have to talk the entire time. Like say something, then music, then say something etc. Loved the drawings and commentary, this is actually the first time I see someone use ARRTX and they look better than I thougt they would.

I love your character designs! I don't usually like the clown/circus aesthetic but they came out so cute and colorful! I've always been envious of artist that could use different colors for highlights and shadows and I think you did it well! I've been seeing these markers advertised alot of their social media and I want them so badly but I just bought a small set of acrylic markers from a different brand so I guess these will have to wait until I can justify getting more😭😂

For stickers to put on the ends of markers I suggest using tweezers. -From a large finger friend

Do you spray fixatif /fixative in your pencil drawings before drawing on the same page(s)

I used to spray over them when I finished a whole page, but I kinda stopped doing that recently and found that my pages are still holding up pretty well. I might continue to spray some things that I REALLY want safe, but most everything's are fine at the moment so don't wanna waste it 😊

It doesn't have a brand name or anything on it. It says " Roller Pen Liquid Ink". I got it from a super market (They're in Tesco's, Morrisons etc.) It's just a standard Roller pen 😁

I‘ve been scrolling through all the comments but do y‘all get paid by Arrtx? The way the paper teared looked horrible. I would‘ve thrown them out of the window out of frustration 😂

No I don't get paid. And I personally don't think the pilling is that bad, they do the same amount (maybe even less) as when I use Posca's. I also think it's unavoidable considering how these pens are made to be used, wetting the paper and then rubbing something harder than a brush is gonna cause pilling. I understand your concern and why it might not appeal to all, but for me these are great. ( I hope this doesn't come across as a rude response, I'm not always the best at wording my opinions especially when their opposite to who I'm talking to. I really appreciate you taking the time to watch my video and share your opinion on the product shown ❤)

@@staticwool No, you don’t sound rude at all. Your answer is very nice and lovely, I appreciate it very much! But I feel the same about my ability to express my thoughts because of my adhd brain and also because English isn’t my first language, so I feel that. I was just surprised the markers are so hyped because personally the pilling would drive me insane. I really would not have finished the painting with those markers. Maybe they perform better on a different type of paper? I don’t own the Arrtx markers, but when I use my very cheap, no name acrylic paint pens, they glide rather smoothly on my sketchbook paper.
