@@ReretabellWhat got to me was the connection between people. Even tho the world ended pretty much everyone chose to rebuild in their own way. At first it was fight or flight an I think Kirsten even always kept that. But instead of everyone going the caotic route they chose to rebuild an continue an try to show the humanity they still have.

The way it all connects in the end is what I love. The Kirsten/Jeevan story just made it feel so real an it made me tear up.

@@Tw0Dots That's not true. Little Shop of Horrors was only shot in two days. Memento was made in 25 days, and Wayne's World was made in 34 days. Clerks was made in 21 days. All 10 episodes of this series only took 6 months to film. Took that long because of COVID. Feb 2021- July 2021. That's pretty quick from filming an entire series to it hitting the small screen. Do you not know how series work?

@@lifeisterrible No they didn't. They had everything setup to began filming in Chicago January 2020 but stopped due to Chicago COVID protocols after just a few days and began again in Canada Feb 2021 and concluded in July 2021.

This was a great show about a pandemic who takes out many humans in just hours and it reminded me of how fragile we humans are these days in Covid times. But it wouldnt surprise me if we one day goes under in a disease we cant fight. I give this one thumbs up. 👍 (Update, sadly this show started out great but for some reason it only got worse and weirder by the time.)

It’s more realistic than most post-apocalyptic narratives in the sense that the percentage of cold-blooded killers in society doesn’t abruptly ratchet up to 99%. The aftermath is portrayed more like a return to pre-civilization times - there are potential threats to safety everywhere, but a killer isn’t lurking around every single bush. That said, the story doesn’t shy away from the fact that unexpected acts of violence would be a reality for these people

This show actually has some horrific and violent scenes but the overall theme is that life continues regardless of the trauma we endure.

@@RYLANDER The prophet does in the book. They literally say they creep through the bushes silently and ambush people. That's how his followers were trained. They're highly skilled. There are also multiple references throughout the book about having to kill in the first years, hence the tattoos of arrows and knives they ink. It was a very violent and dangerous place to be....at first.

Bro... this is the best show of all time in my opinion... I never watch TV. But when my wife put this on I stood in the back of the room, not committing or or admitting I was watching. We watched 2 episodes before she turned it off to sleep. I turned it back on and stayed up all night tk finish it in a single sitting.
